  • Paul Arbogast demonstrates the various uses for Soulo Bucket Mute for trombone. This cool new bucket mute has two positions - open and close and allows you to create variety of sounds. It can also be put on top of just about any other mute for more colors. Lightweight and with virtually no back pressure, it's quickly replacing the traditional bucket mutes out there. The way you played with the pixie mute gave it almost a horn-like quality! Am looking for a method to emulate the horn sound for my ensemble since my real horn player is leaving my this year... this maybe be a solution!

I use a Satellite mute by H&B over their Pixie mute. I can't believe I never thought of putting the Soulo over another mute of mine!

If it is light weight I want it. My bucket mute is too heavy.

Hi Gerald, it is very light weight indeed. It is 6.7oz, compared to JoRal at 10oz.
