just wanna say thanks for you guys' videos. a year ago i was 6'4" 240ish and way-too-much% bf, and now a year later after keeping track of calories and macronutrients, lifting 4x a week, and doing these HIIT/cardio+core combo workouts on my "rest" days (non-lifting days) i'm 195lbs and 11-12%bf and am really starting to see the aesthetic, strength, and endurance results i've been looking for for the better part of a decade. keep doing what you're doing, and again, thank you so much!

+Merel Veen Look for shoes that are designed for "training". They will provide more stability for things like squats and weight training. You don't want to wear traditional running shoes as they are designed for a forward motion. I starting doing FB workouts with more traditional running shoes and my form was infinitely better once I switched.

HEY GUYS! i just want to say a huge thank you because ever since i started your workouts, i feel so much healthier and happier and more in shape. but i do have one question, i am actually gaining a bit weight, and im wondering if its muscle mass or not? because i can see that i am losing fat as weird as this sounds in my belly area and legs, so am i gaining muscle mass from all the strength training i do?
The scale is an absolute liar, and I ditched it a while ago. I would recommend using a tape measure(the soft kind) instead, much more motivating and it shows results much better :)
+nicole choong Don't waste your time with the scale. Ignore it. How do you feel in your clothing and in your health is a good indicator of how well your regimen is going. I also recommend a soft measuring tape, as that will tell you how many inches you have lost.
That was a great workout!!! I liked switching off between HIIT and abs, a nice change from the usual structure.=) I felt really strong during each round of HIIT, even the burpees.
workout complete! I did this after another upper body strength workout video of yours, so I can just get into the cool down without spending time to look for one! btw i changed the butt kicker and alternating lunges to starjumps in the last round of hiit :)

I've suffered from bronchitis for two weeks so after trying to do this last week I really struggled and was coughing persistently. I did manage to get through it all today which is a good sign and this was a nice compact HIIT routine to do. I've been really frustrated that I haven't been keeping up with my workouts. :/

I read in one book I pulled from the library that prolonged participation in HIIT workouts can burn you out and hurt your joints in the long-run. It said intermixing periods of steady-state cardio is good for your health as well. What are your thoughts on this?
I'm really struggling with the back bow and back bow crossovers whenever they are in a routine. I can usually do everything else but these. Any tips or alternate exercises to do to maybe build strength for this specific exercise?
@FitnessBlender Hey guys, I really like your videos they help me incorporate new exercises into my workout routine. I have some PROBLEM WITH "BACK BOW CROSSOVER" though. This exercise is very strenuous and I feel it difficult to coordinate the movement right, but that's not my issue as I believe my coordination will improve and my back muscles develop. The ISSUE that I have is that I feel a heavy strain on my neck and spine while doing it. So much that I had to stretch at least 3 times a day for a couple of days after the workout due to intense back and neck pain. This has not happen to me in year even when I try to push my limits. Of course, I don't believe in the myth of "no pain, no gain" and have stopped this specific exercise. Do you have any recommendations? Cheers
I pushed through an entire HIIT for the first time and at the end I knelt on the floor and cried with no tears. Agony? Joy? I don't know. Then I told myself "excuse me while I go puke". I sat next to the toilet but nothing happened. Shower time now I guess! Thank you for awesome workouts!
