I've been doing this workout ever since it came out, it kills me every time barely even gets easier and I train and have ran multiple marathons and I'm a fitness instructor
@@jessicabrady5693 I agree; it doesn't really get any easier. I've been doing it on reasonably regular intervals (2-3 times a week) for over a year now and every time it's really tough, although recovery is a little quicker. Without the burpees is a LOT easier though!
I commented 2 months ago but wanted to give an update/advice: Keep going. Even if it's been a month and you still can't make it through the entire workout without pausing the video, keep going. I nearly threw up my first time doing this workout, even while I had to pause a few times throughout, and at a certain point I gave up for a couple of weeks. I'm at month 2 now and I can get through the entire thing (albeit, a tad bit slower than he does lol) without stopping. I'm in the best shape I've ever been, my mood is up, I'm energetic... Truly one of the best things I've done for myself. So if you're just starting your journey, don't be discouraged if there are hiccups. They're expected. Just keep trying.
Alaiik Awesome, have you noticed a difference in your thighs? My thighs are so sore right now so I hope that means if I keep at it this workout will get them toned
Nyambura Miano Definitely! It takes some time to really notice it but your legs will get slimmer and a bit more toned. I would suggest pairing this with some strength workouts for the best results! I’m not an expert but this combined with some full-body dumbbell exercises really got me into superhero shape lol
@@claudian.4572 For a while- like the first couple of months- I was doing this 3-4 times a week before work in the morning, sometimes with 20 minute dumbbell workouts at the end of the day depending on how tired I was feeling, maybe 2-3 times a week. While I now use other vids for HIIT, I still do this workout and/or other HIIT workouts 2-3 times a week, with the dumbbell workouts or targeted muscle group training at the end of the day, 5 days a week for around 30 minutes. I tend to mix up these workouts with various videos from Zeus Fitness and Athlean X.

You know what I like about your guy's videos? You're just regular real people. Take this guy for example, he's not super huge or has his shirt off 99% of the time, he just looks like some regular joe like me and hell, he even looks like he's hurting, just like me! I can relate more to this than any other type of videos because you guys are so personable and not robotic. Thumbs up.
This workout is the best thing I’ve ever done! I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It’s my 6th week in doing it 3 times a week. I love it! My energy is up and my body is more defined and toned! Highly recommend it.
Anyone reading this before starting the workout for the first time: tell your family you love them, get your affairs in order and feed your cat. There's no coming back, Jim. There's no coming back.
Did it 5 years ago. 4 times a week. It got me into the best shape I ever was, it was perfect. Did many other variants for other hiit workouts which are even longer than this one, but none come closer to this. I think having very little break time for 20 sec is the key to burn more calories during the workout and the day that follows.
@@rahikfarhan117 no it is not recommended to do hiit very often. If you do it 2 to 3 times a week it is enough. Sure it will get you in the best shape you can achieve if you do it more often but according to doctors it is not good for your heart health (leaving aside the fact that it is not sustainable in the long run). I do it 2 times a week and that too is too much for me. Rest of the days I either do upper body/ yoga/walking for an hour.
@@rahikfarhan117 When I was very committed (to an unhealthy degree) I did this exercise video every day of every week when I woke up in the morning for a month and a half. Along with a diet consisting of only a banana and a 3 tangerines every day I lost a lot of weight. I want to say around 20-25lbs but I never weighed myself until after the fact, but the burnout and lethargy was tremendous. I stopped doing any HIIT at all and just decided to do calisthenics to strengthen my body.
@façade.. I think a mixture of everything is the key.. like nutrition .. a bit of cardio/ strength/ stretching is the right approach .. Update: I lost 50 pounds from this workout:) *A REVIEW FOR THIS WORKOUT (READ):* Ive been doing this workout for about 2 months now, and i gotta say despite it being absolute cancer, clicking on this video was one of the best things ive done. I have done multiple workouts posted by fitness creators, personal trainers, etc. for the past 3 years now.. and while they were still effective, this specific workout has to be at the top of the list. I LOST AROUND 20 POUNDS IN TWO MONTHS by doing this (along with some fasting and caloric deficit) My metabolism is actual trash so no its not genetics, I promise you this is really EFFECTIVE. Backstory: I gained MASSIVE weight this quarantine due to depression from 155lbs to 204lbs. Insane right? When people started to critic my weight, I had to do something about it and get back on my feet. I searched different workouts that would seem to be the most effective until I stumbled upon this video. The first time I did this, im gonna be completely honest with you all, I did not complete it nor do the workouts as intense as he did in the video. Despite being someone who was previously active in workouts, I couldnt do a single burpee without wanting to pass out. Although I only reached until the first 12 minutes of this video, to me I still felt accomplished since I sweated my ass off for the first time this year while having a heart attack. I then decided to motivate myself to do this workout atleast 4 times a week and made it a goal to one day be able to finish the entire workout. I've only been able to do the workout until 40 second mark for like 3 days.. until I saw some progress.. I begin to increase my stamina and strength the more I do it.. When at day 1, i had trouble carrying my own weight, in about a week I was able to finally complete the workout. Honestly I didnt do some workouts properly, such as the burpees and high knees, but still being able to finish the video was a huge accomplishment. After days of doing this workout, it suddenly becomes tolerable and a part of my routine.. I still pass out in some days but it became really manageable and more fulfilling to do. *You dont have to do this workout as 100% as the guy in the video I PROMISE, AS LONG AS YOU DO IT AND COUNT YOUR CALORIES YOU WILL SEE PROGRESS* Together with taking care of my calorie intake and doing intermittent fasting (there are still days I dont fast and overeat ngl).. I am currently at 186lbs from 204lbs in 2 months. And I am planning to keep on doing this workout until I get back to my original weight. Kuddos to the creator of this "brutal" workout.. If ever you feel unsure about this workout, I hope my experience and insights would change your mind and push you to give this HIIT workout a try. *10/10 workout*
I work out 3 times a day as well it’s hard on the muscle but it works to help lose weight😅😅 I was really skinny beforehand yet I gained around 16 pounds so am trying to lose to go back.
I did it! It took me 10 tries in 17 days, but I finally did it, barely - some of my high knees were pretty low knees. My first try I quit after 7 minutes. After I got through the 30 seconds lap threshold, it got easier. I've lost 5 pounds from pursuing to complete this workout and I feel I'm already in a tiny bit better shape. Now I'm only 3 pounds overweight. Cheers!
Damn, there is actually people who can achieve this, I cannot believe it!. I`m a Elite tennis player and I just cannot imagine myself doing this, not sure if I can. I am still asking, how does the man in the video didn`t even sweat?
958409850a Amazing dedication from the OP!!! Fantastic work! I didn't think I would get through but after that 30 sec lap you just go ...Half way BUT this half is EASYY! Not so but it does seem quick in comparison.! ;) I can barley type dripping in sweat and messing up my keyboard haha... Dedicate it to being just a week into FB 2nd 8-week program..few months ago and no way I could have made it!! :D My question to person above ----Have you been working out consistently and after 3 months can you do burpees now?? I couldn't do burpees a couple of years ago..like at all but the key is just to trust in yourself that yes you can...go steady pace and don't overdo first few or you burn out in no time..Be consistent get in the rhythm BUT first key factor is to get your core nice and strong. Your back, abs and obliques are tight and strong so they wont be injured...engage everything and just go for it...if you need to work on your core more because a bit weak then get that core strong first and foremost or you'll risk imjury...once it is burpees will work everything else while making that core even stronger and you wont even have to target it in workouts but just engage through all other exercises! Happy Sweating!!! :D
I did this workout back in 2016 when i was 16 . Now i'm 24 and still doing it . I will do it forever , i won't choose another channel . @@martinsoucek3414 Hey Martin. I have been doing since beginning of November and believe me. After few days or week your body will get used to it and then its gonna be like snap of the fingers cause your muscles will get used to it and be ready to bring it on 4 more. Cheers
Week 1: I had to pause this like 5 times because I was dying (I thought my heart was going to stop). Week 2: still heavy breathing. Paused it two times (the first one was to tie my shoes but it was a good rest too tbh). It was as hard as the first time I think. At the 15 min mark I stared to feel exhausted and kind of dizzy. Week 3: I didn't pause the video at all! But slowed down every time I needed. I didn't feel like I was having a heart attack so I think I'm having progress. Week 4: Is still brutal but I think I'm getting a little bit used to it. I haven't paused the video and it seemed waay shorter than other times. I'm going to do this workout once per week along with my other routines and I'll keep track of my progress :) Update: I've continue to excersize five days at week ant this workout is not really challenging for me anymore, however I revisited it today and got a nice sweat. If I could do it, yo too!
I lost 20 pounds doing this video. Went from 169 to 149. 🔥 🔥 🔥. At first I would skip the burpees because it felt like my lungs were gonna explode. Now, 3 months after I can almost do a whole run. Lol
dear D&K. i can talk about the obvious thank you for posting these videos. but i want to thank you for saving my soul. for a long time i used to fool myself i work out, following your videos once in never... lately i had a really hard break up, from who i thought to be the one. i was lost. i was pissed. and when i wanted to cry, scream or even hurt myself- i came here. specially to this brutal vid. at the beginning it made me hate myself even more. not because i couldn't finish even one minute right- because i was so angry i neglected myself so much. and you guys were here. to tell me it's a matter of time, believing, and not giving up. i begun to love the pain, each time it made me stronger. literally and physically. i cried and i smiled. but i continued. i found myself again. and it''s like 100,000 calories because of you. so thank you for bringing hope to people, but most of all- for showing them being hurt is ok- as long as you keep moving forward. catching breaths, Lily from israel.

Yes we are. We look at ourselves in the mirror with our 12 percent body fat and yell "who do you think you are? John Candy? You're not funny. You're not loved by millions. You can live in this grotesque husk, or you can get to 8 percent body fat and live like a human being. Now get busy" At least that's what I tell myself when I'm listening to Tool and trying to get past the first 5 minutes of this.
Before 6 years I was rocking this. Fitness blender was the reason I discovered my love for working out. 5 years ago I had a total break down mentally and I gained 30 kg almost in 2 months only. Since then I'm trying to find my self back . I did finish my work out today, I saw the work out complete screen but it was a lot harder and not properly done for me. WISH ME GOOD LUCK because I really need it and I feel that this is the time . I'm ready to welcome back my self for 2023. ❤️ Thank you Daniel and Kelli for giving us these work out videos for free. You were so ahead of your time back in 2013.

It really makes it fun for me. I wish he could cone to UK and be my PT lol! I have dropped a dress size in only one month just by doing one of his workouts a day. I haven’t even had to change much about my diet. I am officially obsessed with this guy!! He has given me my confidence back and I’m sure in another month I will have the nice flat belly and slim thighs that I want back as he has already worked miracles for me. The highlight of my days no matter what I have planned is always these workouts and even if my day has been crazy I always make sure to squeeze in at least 20 mins with him sometimes nog until 10pm at night. I have struggled for 6 years to get motivated so well done for doing it in only a month!!

I've done workouts with pretty much every hardcore workout channel, and while this channel caters to more beginner-moderate fitness levels... this workout structure (ladder with the no breaks in between sets and only 20 sec between rounds...60 sec-10 sec) is literally the best and most efficient hiit structure out there. The best 20 minute workout on youtube.
Great workout. Definitely gonna try these exercises! In my opinion they can lead to great results when combined with structured meal plan. Last week I took a plan from Next Level Diet. I'm already noticing solid results. The best thing is I don't have to go to the gym and I can eat food I like. 😘😘

That was last year and it kickstarted my weight loss - I'm 30 lbs down now and on a roll! I'm so grateful that this crazy workout got me going!!
I was struggling with belly fat for a long time and this workout was the only thing that helped me losing it. I do this for about 2 years now every week at least 3 or 4 times and the results are stunning… Great workout for all of you who want to reach a flat stomach and then build a six pack! thanks fitness blender ❤️
I’m a personal trainer and boxing coach and tend to do weight and core training A LOT. I burn over 1500 calories when training people running up and down the floor and do this at least 3 times a week. So here’s me thinking - hell im fit. My body fat is next to zero percent and I’m lean and muscular. I shamelessly admit that THIS EXERCISE routine gave me a stitch half way through. And boy oh boy am I out! I’m going to be doing this regularly. The reason I returned to Cardiovascular fitness is because I do lots of work in theatre and found myself running out of breath quickly when giving long speeches. So I wanted to use various ways to increase my lung capacity. I wondered if it was because of all the core work I’ve been doing for months and months. Needless today I will be doing this regularly now. I didn’t smile the whole ay through but I was necessary ❤️ thanks guys and good luck to all on your fitness journeys!xx
I did longer pauses and everything little bit slower in general and I still almost died! But I feel really good now and I will definetely be doing this again. Just don’t give up guys!

I did it and I feel so proud and empowered!! May 29, 2020 - the first time I finished this workout WITHOUT pausing, all the while keeping myself at a steady pace! I just finished as I am typing now, sweat beads dripping from me like a faucet tap. I challenged myself that if I can go through this, then I can push myself in other aspects of my life! Coronavirus employment is causing me anxiety and this is such an encouraging boost. To everyone else, keep pushing and keep asking yourself, "What if I finish til the end of this?" Trust me, the feeling is very fulfilling and strengthening 💪

Beautiful workout, and take it from me--you will see improvement weekly. Be patient and aim to finish a little stronger each time until you complete the full 20 minutes. By that time you'll begin to see not only physical changes, but your overall mental clarity will improve as well. Exercising is not only about looking good, but thinking and feeling good, body and mind. Short but intense workouts like these will sharpen both. Dont give up. Your first three weeks will be hard but you will become increasingly motivated as your attitude toward it changes, and your attitude toward it will change as you become stronger. Your energy and stamina increases the more you push yourself toward completion, and as i said, these are things that will improve weekly, so you can look forward to these improvements fairly early on. Try not to get wrapped up in rapid weight loss. Hard work and perseverance and the ability to complete the workout a little better each time means just as much as losing a pound of weight. The weight will come, but the mind needs to be prepared to go the distance. so take a holistic view of exercise, and remind yourself that each time you push yourself to the limits, you are strengthening yourself into a more complete and capable person each time I lost 20 pounds in 3 months and started my journey with this workout. I consider this as a foundation that must be built before going further in your exercise journey. KEEP IT UP. You will not regret it

The laugh you gave me burned more calories than five times of this work out
Did it 5 years ago.

When I was very committed (to an unhealthy degree) I did this exercise video every day of every week when I woke up in the morning for a month and a half.
@facade5050 you were starving yourself essentially. No wonder you felt lethargic
@façade.. I think a mixture of everything is the key.. like nutrition .. a bit of cardio/ strength/ stretching is the right approach .. I am not an expert.. just trying to keep as healthy and fit as possible . I like Fitness Blender , Bob Harper , Jessica Smith and Pop Sugar channel :)

Update: I lost 50 pounds from this workout:)
*A REVIEW FOR THIS WORKOUT (READ):*
Ive been doing this workout for about 2 months now, and i gotta say despite it being absolute cancer, clicking on this video was one of the best things ive done. I have done multiple workouts posted by fitness creators, personal trainers, etc. for the past 3 years now.. and while they were still effective, this specific workout has to be at the top of the list.
I LOST AROUND 20 POUNDS IN TWO MONTHS by doing this (along with some fasting and caloric deficit)
My metabolism is actual trash so no its not genetics, I promise you this is really EFFECTIVE.
*You dont have to do this workout as 100% as the guy in the video I PROMISE, AS LONG AS YOU DO IT AND COUNT YOUR CALORIES YOU WILL SEE PROGRESS*
Together with taking care of my calorie intake and doing intermittent fasting (there are still days I dont fast and overeat ngl).. *10/10 workout*

well done for keeping at it and finding a solution that works for you

After I got through the 30 seconds lap threshold, it got easier. I've lost 5 pounds from pursuing to complete this workout and I feel I'm already in a tiny bit better shape. Now I'm only 3 pounds overweight. Cheers!

I can barley type dripping in sweat and messing up my keyboard haha... Dedicate it to being just a week into FB 2nd 8-week program..few months ago and no way I could have made it!! :D
My question to person above ----Have you been working out consistently and after 3 months can you do burpees now?? :D
Thus it has also reduced your belly fat?
Also were you following any sort of diet?

Week 2: still heavy breathing. Paused it two times (the first one was to tie my shoes but it was a good rest too tbh). It was as hard as the first time I think. At the 15 min mark I stared to feel exhausted and kind of dizzy.
Week 3: I didn't pause the video at all! But slowed down every time I needed. I didn't feel like I was having a heart attack so I think I'm having progress.

i found myself again. and it''s like 100,000 calories because of you.

You're probably dead then. Lmao, body fat close to zero.
Kyle Villacorte ermmmmm you okay there?👀👀👀 lol
😂😂😂
Your body fat is nowhere next to zero. Stop the bullshit.
🙏💪🙌💟
I did longer pauses and everything little bit slower in general and I still almost died! But I feel really good now and I will definetely be doing this again. Just don’t give up guys!
I started on the 40 second mark. I'll eventually do the full routine when the 40 second point gets easier.
Same.
I love this workout!! I been doing it for 27 days straight along with the Keto diet, and jogging my neighborhood daily. Lost 17 lbs so far!
update: lost 14 more since I posted this
@@PRT2Music That's amazing. Did you do any fasting?
Nyambura Miano thank you! And yes I do intermittent fasting, on most days I skip breakfast/lunch and just settle with a big keto-healthy dinner. probably not the sharpest method but very effective
update: lost 66 lbs in total, still doing this everyday
@@PRT2Music Wow good job! Do you do any other workout besides this one? I find this makes my body so tired that I've never been able to do it every day. In all honesty though I think if I was consistent my body would have adjusted by now lol
There was an ad somewhere in the second set, I'm buying 6 Geico insurances for my car out of gratitude
One of the best comments I’ve seen in a while
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
LMAO
underrated
Hi
Tell me Hindi
are you still doing it in 2023?
Hell... my calves are on fire right. I'm super glad this exists though. You guys are the reason I ended up losing 40 pounds two years ago and I'm still on my way to becoming the person I want myself to be. Thank y'all, you were my starting motivation, and a continual reminder to get my tail moving.
i was expecting to die from corona, not some do-at-home cardio.
Corona : Go on son, keep pushing...
:D :D
JESUS!! I get soo aggravated at weak, pussy comments like this? WHY? All the pussy comments like yours, Zak, all those do is get hundreds of "likes"- only encouraging others to say "yea, it's ok. I am not the only one who can't do it. This is really hard. 'I shouldn't try."
WHY can't you say...geeze, this is difficult, but man, I am going to kill it next time
@@danamclemore3805 Relax, you don't have to be so negative. Maybe these people are beginners and want to make a joke and make some people laugh? Everyone loves to laugh at jokes like these, but you don't have to call them "pussy" for making jokes like this.
@@danamclemore3805 chill
It's been like 9 years and whenever i want a 3 times a week weight loss workout I always come back to this. Gets easier over some months but never stops being challenging. Thank you for this.
In all honesty, this is one of the best workouts yet! It is short, challenging and by the time you get really tired it's halfway done!
this girl just finished the whole thing. why it feel like i got 9 hearts inside of me beating at different rhythms lOL
Somemore Love 🤣
hahahaha good job gurrrll
yes?
why cant i not see that emogie -.-
LMAO thanks.....i quit tho ;x starting all over tomorow
Joined the 5Am club and this is the perfect 20 minute work out!
Awesome... I'm starting this tomorrow as a part of the 5 am workout. Hope you are sticking to the plan. Good luck!
I'm 53 and have been doing this for probably seven years. I throw in a pushup during the burpees just to prove to myself I can do them. It's still my favorite quick workout when I don't have time to run in the morning.
I just love love love your workouts no unnecessary talking no distracting music and fake woo-hoo bs just straight down to business 💪 kills me every time but it's the kind of death that I like 😂
100% agreed - clean cut, instructive - just what is needed. Great exposition on audio-video. Thank you - for skipping some annoying hard rock that would have made the verbal instructions washed out.
Well, just did my 2018 workout. Thats it for the year.
Megan Moron wilke hahahaha
now do it again for 2019 (:
Now 364 days to drink 🍷
Too funny. 😂😂
What's even more amazing is how he's floating in the air while doing it. Awesome
I love how mental this is. 20 seconds of high knees usually kills me, but when I finally get to that point in this video, it almost feels like a rest. I do swap in other cardio workouts for the jumping jack portion. Jumping jacks kill my ankles!
When the video starts buffering I start smiling. :)
I have been doing this routine for 1 month every second day with no other form exercise. I have surprised to see how defined my calves are now and how much weight I’ve lost 🤭. Loving it! Diet and this really works ahaha. For someone who doesn’t like the gym I’m happy 😊
Have you noticed a lower resting heart rate?
How many calories it burn so you know
@@blaeck9063 Yes for sure.
@@evanmichaud4763 I lost 12 kg in 4 months. Of course I snacked less and fixed up my diet a bit. I did this every 2 days. Only form of exercise.
Intzein oh damn 24 pound isn’t too bad, that’s pretty impressive, I heard personally that eating one meal a day and drinking water is a good way to diet, I know it’s only fasting but I heard it’s good to help burn more calories since you burn more then you consume
I do this almost daily. I love how every time there is like 20k more views. People still getting after it and that motivates me! Lets go another day another round.
Are you two still going at it? If so I’d like to know the results
I really like that you keep talking during the exercises, keeps me distracted from the pain! (Haha it's hard to type on my phone, I'm so shaky after this!!)
El ow el
then Y U TYPE SO MUCH
I am so proud of myself... I passed the warm up stage 🤣
Lmao same dude same
🤣🤣🤣
Man! I. Am. Done. This is a great workout! I am going to be doing this one at least twice a week. You all have a new subscriber here. Thanks for this.
My respect for this guy is infinity.
His face when he finishes is pure joy
First time doing this one, got to admit it was hard! I stopped countless times, but I completed it eventually! Thank you for this.
ItsMeChloeG I find it helps so much if you have someone there to motivate, perhaps a workout partner or just a friend

This is my go to workout and has been for years now. Every time I need to drop jean sizes, I do this twice a day during the week. I promise you won’t go wrong!
Are you typing this from the other side?
@@kurogane2x I won't lie, I am feeling like death but it gets easier
14 times a week? Pffttt, people don't take you seriously when you say crap like that. I really hate liars.
@@RabidTales During the week means weekdays and yes, I do it twice a day, 5 days a week. Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean there aren't people doing it.
@Thabisile Malinga more than 50 minutes of hiit a week will not enable you to reap the most benefits you need rest days in between too there was a controlled study done on this matter
I asked for a quick and brutal workout and man did I get one. I'm spent and I LOVE IT!!!!! I haven't done this routine in years. I'm glad it popped up on my feed again. Thanks
Now that I'm in quarantine, I'm absolutely watching one of these every morning to make sure I don't get out of shape!
The weight will come, but the mind needs to be prepared to go the distance. so take a holistic view of exercise, and remind yourself that each time you push yourself to the limits, you are strengthening yourself into a more complete and capable person each time
I lost 20 pounds in 3 months and started my journey with this workout. I consider this as a foundation that must be built before going further in your exercise journey. KEEP IT UP. You will not regret it
