At what length does a knife transcend its "knifely stuff characteristics" and become a sword?
I've heard that "knifes becomes swords" at ~1 foot (~30 centimeters). I'm guessing those are short swords. But I'm not sure there is any real limit.

Surely that depends on the type of being the knife/sword is being made for. If it's 1 foot for an average-sized human, it would be quite a bit larger for that robot.

Honestly, my favorite part of this machine isn't even the choppy blades. It's the "sweep stuff off the table when finished with it" motion.

I was honestly hoping it would be more of a replica of Simone's chopper. The knives should've had a longer lever and only been hydraulically lifted, but the chopping action should've been gravity assisted. It would have been easier to control, cheaper and easier to make, and more devastating.
