he said they were 100% accurate, possibly even though your dash. Physical walls prevent 100% accuracy though... So yea, I see a mad dash zone of weaving in and out of walls to snipe a sentry.
Intresting how some enemys are protected my the Idol, and some aren't. By the looks of it, the hell spawn aren't while those who were banished to hell and holy enemys are protected
So far we've seen Husks, Machines, and Angels receive blessings. That leaves only Demons left. Seems like Idols can only bless one enemy at a time too, so it might be a predetermined one enemy per wave that gets blessed.
It's interesting when compared to the other enemies that you usually faced, the idol seems really angelic which is similar to the rock crystal that we were first introduced in 4th layer. It makes me wonder if the lower we go, the more angelic beings are present and maybe the 9th layer is actually "heaven" or where gabriel went and got banned after we kicked his ass.

I think what i'm noticing is that demons are the only/among the only enemies that AREN'T shielded. Malicious faces and cerberi seem to be excluded, both of which are demons, but soldiers also seem to be, and because they're husk/machine I couldn't tell you why that is
the council originally wanted to remove powerful people from their positions with lust/greed and potentially further. now the council has the problem of machines invading hell as humanity is dead, meaning the angels are once again trying to restore order. the logs make it clear the husks are mostly mindless, and the angels may have a way to communicate with demons, or otherwise control them. i dont think the angels view the demons and husks as enough of a threat to turn on them sufficiently, so they send some virtues down to ensure they cooperate all nice and eventually start sending idols once the robot problem reaches wrath. the only problem with this theory is we've seen robots working in tandem with demons, husks, and angels, when youd assume the angels were just working with demons and husks. my theory for this is the council decided fighting fire with fire (huehue street cleaner) could help the problem. then, once the intelligent and/or very dangerous robots are dead, the angels will lead a war against the stragglers left behind in the conflict and destroy them too.
