😮Does LISS and HIIT offers any aditional benefits for heart health and general health that you can't achieve with resistance training, high step count and healthy lifestyle (no smoking, occasinaly alcohol consumption...)? There are some colerations between higher Vo2max and mortality...so is it reasonable to train to improve vo2max while lifting weights?
Hi Dr. Swole, Sry this is off topic of this video but I'm planning to follow your beginner Upper Lower 4-Day Split. Would you suggest doing AMRAP on all exercises?
I do 40 seconds fast paced that gets my heart rate up and sweating, but still at a pace I'd be able to have a conversation at, and then 120 seconds at a low/moderate pace. I do this on the echo bike for 14 minutes total, 3 times a week. You think this is a good method for increasing cardiovascular health, and minimising negative effects on hypertrophy?
Thanks for this great video

I think it’s fine as long as you aren’t running into fatigue issues
Military we did 30/60 or 60/120. 30 seconds hard sprint/run, then 60 seconds walk. Did that for 30 minutes at the end of PT
Eric "the Researcher" Helms, busting myths like others bust nuts!
Ahahha it’s myth busting season
I have no idea how I missed this....
It was a good one!
How's cardio controversial? If your cardio lacks, you suck in combat training, running from confrontations/pursuits and clapping your gf's cheeks!!!
Would love to see helms do workout videos instead of rambling all day. Like arm workouts and shoulders be nice .
We'll get in a workout together sometime
