When calculating fat and carb %’s, is it % of total calories, or % of calories remaining after accounting for protein? In MacroFactor fat and carb percentages come out of remaining calories.
i prefer protein or fat to gain muscle instead of carbs…if my goal is to hit 2200 calories i will prefer 170-180gm protein, 70-80gm fat, aprox 200gm carbs…if i have to increase my calories to gain more pure muscle i will prefer fat or protein instead of carbs coz i feel bloated and spilled over after consuming lots of carbs in daily basis….
For bulking just eat alot that's it I was like 170 ate then was 195 lbs by the time I knew it. For natural lifters use protein and creatine for max results 💪
Maybe not for big eaters. Alot of folks could can gain 3+ lb per week (not water, just fat). Myself i could gain that 25lbs of yours in one day, but it would settle at ~1.5 lbs of pure fat.
I feel like I can hang with his scientific terms 4 a while and then it starts 2 get blurry and sound like mumbo jumbo 😂 i feel you as the interviewer should 4 the audience break it down in layman's terms in conclusion

That’s reasonable!
There’s a lot of individual variation in needs. You’re also still in a moderate range of carb intake
Now please ask these same questions to Menno.

I agree that hitting daily protein and calorie targets will get most of your results!
