    Hey guys! It's been 5 years since I've made this video, and my acne came back... but it's getting better with what I'm doing now! I have a new video where I talk all about it if you're interested 💜 I truly hope you're all doing well ✨th-cam.com/video/JI9Je-pjheU/w-d-xo.html

      I can totally relate!! Acne took away all my confidence, but if anything, I do feel like it made me realize how strong of a person I am. Acne doesn't make you any less of a worthy human being. You are strong and beautiful and your acne can NEVER take that away from you forever. You've got this girl! You're not alone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    just got the bottle today along with tretinoin cream. I hope it works! thanks for this video
    update!
    Hey! so I finished my pills the other day and dont use the cream daily cause it really burns at times and caused flakey skin ( that's normal just cut down on the amount you use if its a problem/ speak to doc) but I still get bumps but their more flat and not as textured or filled with pus. huge improvement. At first it was so bad but after these pills I'm really happy with my skin. Just take your meds as told and invest in some good moisturizer. I use the G9 skin face mask 3d moisture I got from kohl's every now and then, I don't use any mud mask or anything, unless I need to for spot treatment, I invested in some acne patches which have been amazing. They're not that expensive for what they do. You can get them from Walmart, I didn't like those that much so I got some form amazon. This is the first one I used, and loved it. Apply to clean skin on the spots, only works well if its a white head/ puss filled and leave it on overnight/ long as possible. Sometimes if I know ill be going out with friends and want to wear makeup I put it on for like 5 hours in advance and sometimes it pulls the junk out.
    @t
    And this is a life saving moisturized, I got it by accident but I tend to use it a lot since its been cold and my skins been dry. Its eucerin original healing rich cream for very dry compromised skin, super thick so I only put it on certain areas. Also make sure your diet works with meds, dont eat to much dairy and drink ya water, and use sunscreen esp with that cream! Good luck, I know how hard it can be but you got this!

    I think differin helps pimples that just pop up (like not cystic acne and opening pimples) bc it just spreads the bacteria of the pimples around I think. But im not a dermatologist so not even for sure if it’s true but I have just some like “surface” pimples and it helped a lot for me

      Yeah, I think I just wasn't using a system that supported the use of it. I use a stronger version of it now (Adapalene) once every couple of weeks with my new skin routine and it seems to work much better! I'm so happy to hear that differin works for you! Thanks for sharing :)

    Dont be scared to use the gel! It’s basically like a cream form of Vitamin A (very very very helpful to cure acne), that’s why accutane works so well for people is being its an oral pill of vitamin A! Use the gel mixed with a moisturizer, and put a tiny tiny layer starting out and your skin will slowly get used to it! it works very well if used correctly. all the luck xoxo

I'm super excited but its tons of work. The difference is that accutane is supposed to keep u clear for years after. Also doxycycline says to take the pill with out food. 😩 I puked EVERY TIME! Cleared my acne completely I did a 4 month course and I barely get acne now nothing like before I don’t need to wear foundation and feel insecure. What I noticed is the first couple weeks I had many tiny zits but then afterwards it started to clear up that’s just in the beginning make sure u drink lots of water and don’t skip it or do longer than 6 months because being on an antibiotic for a long time is bad as ur body becomes resistant

      Kiran Bhamra please pls reply but I’ve been taking it for 4 months for the second time after like a year and yes it’s cleared my skin but I’m scared of stopping it but I do NOT want to take it long term because I know how bad that is, my question is how did you stop it did you immediately stop or gradually? Another question is how long ago was it since you’ve stopped

      @@fu9473 my dermatologist recommenced me to switch to lower dose of apprilon doxycycline which is supposed to be for red cheeks she told me this is safe and completely fine to use for many years. But I did not want to consume a pill everyday and i dont recommend that. I still get acne from stress sometimes but nothing like before so far my acne hasn't came back so i suggest you first initially switch to a even lower dose for maybe a month and then cut it off I think you'll be fine but everyones body is different and it might also depend on ur age and puberty as-well

    Hi did you stop taking it when your pimples were gone? Ive taken it for a month and i still have pimples here and there but i don’t really know if i should do it for a second month to clear it up more or not... what do you think? Please reply to thiss

    • @greta_jane
      @greta_jane  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey!! I stopped taking it after 1 month. At that point my skin had mostly cleared, I just had some scarring and pigmentation left. Like most things, everyone is different! I'd say, if you aren't experiencing any side effects, then maybe do it another month and then reevaluate. If most of the acne is gone and it's just an occasional break out here and there, then maybe stop. It's totally up to you! Wishing you the best of luck!! 🍀💕
