FINALLY! Someone gave me an idea of what these bumps might be. Everyone was like "fungal acne" but mine never itch and are skin coloured and sometimes turn into blackheads.
people be slashing and roughly rubbing their cleansers all over their skin for 10 seconds and rinse off and then complain abt how their skin texture isn't improving, yeah I wonder why😒 If y'all actually don't know: first, you should wash your hands really good, don't forget to wash under your nails too (you can't wash your face with dirty hands), wet your skin a couple of times (your skin is like a sponge, in order for it to absorb all the good chemicals/ingredients it needs to be wet thoroughly). Apply the cleanser on your hands and rub them to create a foam (if you’re using a different cleanser you should still rub your hands to distribute the liquid equally). Apply on your face in GENTLE motion, I suggest using your middle and ring fingers, especially around your eye area since that skin area is more sensitive. Keep applying the cleanser for a good minute (cleansers take time to absorb into skin and actually start working, so washing your face for 10-15 seconds won't do anything to your skin, you will just waste the product. Applying the cleanser from 1-2 minutes will ensure the ingredients to soak into your skin through the thick barrier and start working. A lot of idols do this technique and their skin is glowing)) I personally like to spread the cleanser from my cheeks, to my nose, to my forehead, and then to my chin (I switch the order too but always do my cheeks first) and finish off with my eye area. Then rinse it off with warm water, don't let it be too cold or too hot because that will also break the skin barrier and stress your skin out, causing more breakouts. Then I wipe my face with a towel lightly, not too much so my skin would be a little bit damp to absorb the moisturizer well. Toner is optional, if you have it then use it but if you don't it's still fine. Pump your moisturizer and spread equally in your hands. Now, my skin type is combo and my concern area is the t-zone so I like to put the moisturizer on my cheeks and whatever is left on my forehead then nose, and then chin (your way may differ depending on your dry areas). LASTLY, this is important, dab your skin lightly to help the moisturizer absorb well and lock in your skin!!! This is also a good tip: Rub your hands to create heat and gently press on your face, this will increase the blood flow in the skin, allowing oxygen and nutrients to move through blood vessels which is essential for the regrowth of damaged tissue)) Give your skin and your skin care ingredients some time (2 months is a good period of time where you can see changes) to get to know each other and work together to make your skin look perfect. Hope this helps :)) oh and PLEASE do not forget about your neck!!! you don't need a special routine for your neck but at least applying toner to wipe off the dust/dirt and applying moisturizer afterwards will help so much, also try doing massages and move your hands from up to down (so going from your chin, apply a little bit of pressure and start moving your hands down all the way to the base of your neck where your shoulders are) this will make your neck look so much better AND DO NOT PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO WEAR SUNSCREEN WHEN GOING OUT EVEN IF ITS CLOUDY!!! Update: One of my friends told me to try this one skincare/makeup company called SSTAGIONI COSMETICS and yall- I love it😭 I had a lot of dark spots so I decided to buy their vitamin c and you can really see the difference even tho it’s been like 2 weeks?? Don't give up! You might want to take a look at your diet and make sure you're not overdoing it on the dairy and sugar and that you're eating a lot of greens and drinking a ton of water! Once I cut back a lot on dairy, sugar and coffee (caffeine can also play a role) I noticed a difference. Just keep telling yourself that this is not permanent, it's only something that you're going through right now. With trial and error you'll figure it out! And if you have the ability to, I would recommend seeing an esthetician to figure out exactly what type of acne you have and getting on a skincare regime that will actually work for you.
Listen baby. This world is full of trolls and ik I'm a stranger to you so what I say may not impact you, but I'm still gonna say it because maybe it will: FORGET PEOPLE. These mean butts, who talk about 'eating' and can't do it when you're around, I want you to imagine them as TROLLS. They're the disgusting ones, so make sure you don't eat around them (association). Because that is what they are. I literally don't care if they're pretty on the outside. Inside, they are disgusting. YOU ARE WORTHY! I have terrible acne and sometimes, I don't feel very pretty because of it, but I'm not gonna give up because I am worthy of every damn thing this world has to offer! Even with all its trolls, ion studying a single one of em. Ik it's easier said than done at times, but FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT. It'll work. Love yourself baby and focus on you and God. He is literally the best solution to all issues, truss (idc how cliche that sounds, it is true). Switch your focus to YOURSELF, and ignore the trolls. I promise, endurance, consistency and persistence are the keys to the most beautiful things in life! One day, things will be better and I'm sorry I can't fix it for you this minute, so you're gonna have to take my word for it. BE CONFIDENT! LOVE YOUUUU GIRL!
Omg :( try cutting out all sugary drinks and cut out dairy. Water only!! Lots of it. Cut back on the sweets as well! But nothing wrong in eating 1-2 a week. If you don’t want to see a dermatologist, that means you will have to try multiple products to see what works for you. I hope you can feel confident in your own skin one day
The EXACT video I need because almost everyone is over-classifying these bumps as fungal acne without going through a more thorough evaluation! Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for making this video! I have had these bumps for years! I’m 17, and have found photos of fungal acne, webpages on fungal acne, and finally have some idea on what my skin might have in store. I don’t believe I have fungal acne, thank you for mentioning CC! 🤍🌸🤗
Products recommended -gentle exfoliation:low concentration of salicylic (BHA) and glycocylic acid. Use salicylic acid cleanser -retinoids (prevent CCs) -benzoyl peroxide (kill bacs but also hydrate ur skin, use moisturiser) -azelaic acid (prevent bacs frm multiplying too fast)
@@matheusdeassis1636 I love milk too much :( bruh i drink it instead of water, bc my mom hates buying water in bottles and I hate the taste of tap water, so i use to drink like 1 l of milk for 1.5 day :0
I just want to say this because it's important. Pay attention to your body. I was struggling with stomach issues for 2 years and during that time my skin was getting progressively worse. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2019 and that explained a lot. When your gut is out of whack it definitely disrupts everything else. Purchasing products will only be a temporary fix if you don't get to the root cause of it.
@@jjadabr7421 I struggled until I decided to get a dietitian. We did a blood allergy test and an elimination diet and I slowly added things back in over 3 months. I also started therapy because mental health and stress played a huge role in my gut issues. This helped a bunch! And I know it’s cliche, but exercise. I’m 29 and I’ve had hip and back pain for 2 years because I don’t move my body at all and I sit for 8 hours at work. So I’ve had to incorporate it.
@@esinart93 amazing how a stranger goes through the exact same thing and has your age. Thank you for sharing this, I'm also 29 and currently trying to regulate stress levels and gut issues. Never had acne growing up and suddenly 2 years ago I have the worst break outs. Still trying to listen to my body and do what works for me oh and I noticed gluten made it a lot worse so to eliminate it is smart.
@@alekey5125 when I found out I had IBS I had never heard of it and felt like I was the only person with it. But I’ve learned that a lot of ppl in my community don’t really go to the doctor for stomach issues until it’s too late and they definitely don’t talk about it when it has to do with poop 😂 but I’ve found so many ppl that also suffer from who also have the same underlining issues as me once I started sharing. That’s why I try to comment on post like this.
Wow! Fungal acne and closed comedones are so similar! I thought I had fungal acne (but I didn't really do something to them😂) but after hearing the differences between them, I realized that what I got is closed comedones. It isn't itchy and it is similar color to my skin. I hope these dissappear from our faces🥺
I literally want to cry, I've thought I had fungal acne for months and I've been so stressed out that I can't get rid of it with all the products I've bought and research I've put into it. Thank you so much for this video, you've helped me in such a major way. Thankyouthankyouthankyou
it feels like I have both fungal acne and closed comedones because they aren't itchy, but they go up to my hairline, they're dark-colored, but in different sizes, and sometimes come with pimples, but never turn black, and they're only on my forehead. edit: I've been washing my face with a cerave cleanser and using niacinamide and bha and wearing more sunscreen, they're not as bumpy as before and are kinda smooth but there are still dark brown spots
since niacinamide and bha helped, now u just have to deal with hyperpigmentation (scars/spots). a product with vitamin c (ascorbic acid) or rosehip oil can help with hyperpigmentation
This is the most accurate video I've watched. I've been to the derma before and these are what they discussed and recommended for me. It really helped me get rid of my cc's.
I have been using the SA cleanser from Cerave, the glycolic acid toner and the niacinamide from the ordinary and those products helped me clear my forehead of CCs soooo much. Definitely recommend 👍🏼
Hey. Could u make a skin care routine for different types of skins? Me personally with combination skin and cc find it real hard to find perfect skin care products
The last few weeks I started using La Roche Effaclar foam clenser and CeraVe's hydrating lotion, not the pm one, and let me tell you that my bumps have significantly decreased! I almost have none now. So happy with the results.
I just checked and Cerave doesn’t hVe a hydrating lotion? There’s the moisturizing cream (tub one) & Day moisturizing lotion. Are you talking about the tall lotion one? :)
This is a bit random but can we take a moment to appreciate the whole vibe in this vid, you sound so sweet and i feel happy watching videos like this :)
I’m sorry I know this is from a while ago but people kept telling me I had fungal acne or sebaceous filaments, but when you said the symptoms for closed commodes I was literally like she described what my skin looks like.
This is the best explanation ever especially on how u differentiate between CCs and fungal acne. Now I know I have this CCs for like yearssssss and I've tried everything and they never go away 😭😭😭😭
funny enough, when i tried niacinamide in a cleanser it made me get a bunch of texture on my skin. it's so interesting how similar things work so differently on everyone
This video helped me understand so much about my skin! I started using the Cereve salicylic acid cleanser and night time moisterizer and now my closed comedones are gone! My skin has never looked more beautiful. Thank you so much for making this video!!!!!
Hey, loved the video. Just a small suggestion though - Maybe turn the volume of the background music down a little bit. I have a ear infection at the moment so I found it very hard to hear what you were saying against the loud music. This could also be an issue for people with hearing difficulties.
This is me!! Uh finally. My skin has been so “textured.” I went off the pill and now I have hormonal acne in my chin and texture all over. So annoyed nothings working!!! I’ve been trying Cerave for the last month so I’m hoping I see improvements soon.
I had these tiny bumps for 5 years all over my forehead. I was so self conscious about it that I stopped wearing makeup and dolling up for any occasion. It was starting to take a toll in every aspect of my life. I watched a video about using Nizoral to treat it and so I went out and got it. It's been 2 weeks since I started using and I woke up with clear skin yesterday morning. It felt like a miracle. Now, the only thing I did differently with using it was applying it every 2nd or 3rd day, not daily. And my skin is looking and feeling smooth again. Would just like to say Nizoral worked for me when nothing else did for the last 5 years.
Best video I've found on CCs, been looking into CCs or what I thought were mila for years with very little information!! Finally know enough to create an effective routine
it’s crazy how i had ccs the entire time but didn’t realise and was going hard on exfoliants and active ingredients to fight my acne but they just made the ccs worse!! and i didn’t realise until i went to an aesthetician for a facial and she told me i have mostly closed commedones and/because my skin is incredibly dehydrated!! i’ve been trying to focus on hydration ever since and i hope that will help it 😭😭
I’m so overwhelmed by all the products that everyone is using and recommending. I’m pretty certain I have CC, but I just have no clue what to use. I just want to break down in tears 😥
Same thing here sis, I only started with a simple skincare routine a month ago because I've had this problem on my skin for over 5 years now and i couldn't figure out what it was until this video, but I'm afraid to use any product on my face and make it worse so I just use a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen but I'd love to use something else to help me get rid of this Ccs once and for all but it's just so difficult man so many products and ingredients

This would have helped so much a year ago. I bought the shampoo but barely used it. I used it 2-3 times before I stopped because it kept burning my face and it didn’t do anything at all. TH-cam and TikTok really had me thinking I had fungal acne.
you are so positive that actually having these on my skin was a matter that upset me, but when you talking about this I thought that this is very normal

I didn’t think anything could help with my acne scars, but after listening to the subliminal affirmations on borlest for a while, I’ve started to notice they’re actually fading. It’s such a relief.
I don't even have either of these conditions, but I'm so glad I clicked and watched. Love how you present with some humor but mostly straightforward and clear explanations that are science-based. I'd love to see a mention of which products are vegan and/or cruelty-free as you are making your recommendations. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I have these in the same place for the past year and wondered what they are! They're hardly noticeable but if I squeeze them, the stuff comes out and the hole becomes sore and turns into a pimple.
I have hair that goes over my forhead, and was itching at the bumps at my face. Came here after they started to bleed and was flipping out. This chilled me out, so thank you!
This is super late, but if you were wearing sunscreen regularly it could be a reaction to sunscreen (i.e. if the sunscreen was expired, or had a lot of fragrance or something that irritated your skin, or if you didn't wash it off properly at night). I had the same thing happen while I was on vacation one time and it turned out my sunscreen was expired by like 4 to 5 months.
I remember I watched this video last year, and this actually helped me so much. I tried so many different products thinking I have fungal acne, but after watching this video I got to know that no it's cc. I have been struggling with this issue for the last 4 years but this year I am super happy to say that I am finally getting rid of them Some of the tips from my side 1: keep your self far away from oil 2: Drink alot of water 3: keep your body cool (because I only get it in summer) 4: I am using a face wash Acklear Face wash, Adocxa tablet, and clear cream. 5: Avoid Touching your face 6: I removed my facial hair 6: take proper sleep 7: wash your face regularly
A routine I'm stuck to for over a month and seeing amazing results- Morning 1) cleanse 2) moisturise 3) sunscreen if I'm going out. Night 1) cleanse 2) adapalene (0.1%) gel 3) moisturise Anybody with any skin problem can follow this routine and literally see results within 3 months.
If your acne or whatever is really bad and won't go away you might wanna go see a physician. They can prescribe you with medications to help

The background music is a little too loud, kinda competing with your voice; but great video! Very informative. Thank you!

Still very great video, none the less 👍

How did you get rid from it?
Products recommended
-gentle exfoliation:low concentration of salicylic (BHA) and glycocylic acid. Use salicylic acid cleanser
-retinoids (prevent CCs)
-benzoyl peroxide (kill bacs but also hydrate ur skin, use moisturiser)
-azelaic acid (prevent bacs frm multiplying too fast)
Can I utilize them all at once, or Should I Just Pick a Few Products?

I just want to say this because it's important. Pay attention to your body. I was struggling with stomach issues for 2 years and during that time my skin was getting progressively worse. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2019 and that explained a lot. When your gut is out of whack it definitely disrupts everything else. Purchasing products will only be a temporary fix if you don't get to the root cause of it.
Yes!!
I’m seeing this pretty late but what did you do to help your gut health? I feel like this could possibly be the root of mine.

Finally someone made this video 😭because I knew I did not have fungal acne but I didn’t know what to do
it feels like I have both fungal acne and closed comedones because they aren't itchy, but they go up to my hairline, they're dark-colored, but in different sizes, and sometimes come with pimples, but never turn black, and they're only on my forehead.
edit: I've been washing my face with a cerave cleanser and using niacinamide and bha and wearing more sunscreen, they're not as bumpy as before and are kinda smooth but there are still dark brown spots
omg SAME like i have the same problem

I don't suffer from acne but i have these tiny bumps and the are so so annoying
since niacinamide and bha helped, now u just have to deal with hyperpigmentation (scars/spots). a product with vitamin c (ascorbic acid) or rosehip oil can help with hyperpigmentation

Why not the pm one? Is there much of a difference?

I had these tiny bumps for 5 years all over my forehead. I was so self conscious about it that I stopped wearing makeup and dolling up for any occasion. It was starting to take a toll in every aspect of my life. I watched a video about using Nizoral to treat it and so I went out and got it. It's been 2 weeks since I started using and I woke up with clear skin yesterday morning. It felt like a miracle. Now, the only thing I did differently with using it was applying it every 2nd or 3rd day, not daily. And my skin is looking and feeling smooth again.
