Chongqing was the temporary capital of China during Word War II when the Japanese occupied Nanjing city，official capital of China.

Chongqing is pronounced as Chong-Ching. The Q in chinese is always read as Ch.
Not exactly but close enough for English speakers.

Hi guys nice video, about Chongqing but I believe Chongqing was never occupied by Japan, but Japan did bomb Chongqing, during WW2 and it started bombing Chongqing in 1939 or something like that 😃
重庆，and overall 四川 contributed critically to the fight against the japs, in terms of resources and fighters. The 川军 is renounced as the toughest and most effective fighters.

What a place, how long are you there for? Something different to explore for sure!! How long was the flight?
Flight was 10 hours to Beijing, 2 hrs stop over then another 3 hours to chongqing. Long, but worth it!
