This is the base recipe for just about anything:
The spinach can be replaced with or added to just about any green veg (broccoli, rocket, asparagus, peas etc), it's also great to replace the cream with some herby cream cheese spread or crème fraîche. You could also add some gorgonzola/parmegiano reggiano to this sauce, and/or a small swig of dry white wine. Tonnes of vegetarian options like mushrooms, but honestly: this is one of those things that benefits from a little streaky smokey bacon bits
I love this guy. I love how he isn't perfect and things fall on the floor or stick it makes him much less intimidating. Makes me feel right at home actually. I look forward to making this dish when I can afford cream :)

Love it so much. I just cooked it now for my family and they all loved it. I didn't have spinach though but i used a reasonable amount of parsley. So yummy

We italians will never understand why english and american people eat pasta with chicken and cream. If you ask for this or alfredo pasta in italy people will laugh like you are crazy. Ther are thousands of ways to eat a better pasta dish but you want to eat chicken and cream or the absolutely shit recipe called alfredo. So weird...
+gobbi dimerda I guess it's just a regional thing. we Americans love macaroni and cheese as well as cream based sauces. explains our heart disease issue. but I still stand by my comment about this dish. it tasted so good.

This looks so good! I always have parsley in my creamy pastas but I am going to try this spinach recipe. Marinated sundried tomatoes have such great flavour, I bet it really suits spinach. I always season my chicken with a bit of garlic powder and onion powder as well. :) I don't like biting on pieces of cooked garlic and onion that's why. Donal, I am seriously salivating here haha.
cream sauce with parsley and garlic is always so good ^.^
i make a recipe similar to this but add bacon because it imparts an awesome flavour into the cream! i also use a mix of creme fraiche and white wine instead of cream for a bit more flavour but cream seems more practical and saves the $$$
