      This is the same self acknowledged journey I'm going through right now. It sucks and is sad when you realized your whole life you've been this way... now how do I changed it and my generation? That's the hardest question I'm facing rn.

      💯 Absolutely true. It makes it difficult to show your vulnerability. when you're passionate about something you're labeled as aggressive. Where as other people who are passionate about something in the exact same way are not labeled as being aggressive, it's simply passionate.

    Self love is no longer the scapegoat.
    Self love uses and enforces boundaries by any means necessary.
    Self love addresses issues seeks help when needed.
    Self love understands how energy must be protected and utilized positively.

    Coping instead of healing. Wow! Beautifully said.

    • @SecretsNarratedStories-l7t
      @SecretsNarratedStories-l7t 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! Coping can feel like survival mode, while healing opens the door to true freedom and peace. What do you think helps most in transitioning from coping to fully embracing the healing process?

    • @SecretsNarratedStories-l7t
      @SecretsNarratedStories-l7t 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I completely agree with you, the idea of coping instead of truly healing really resonated with me. Its so important to understand the difference and to really take the time to heal rather than just survive. What do you think are some of the biggest barriers to healing that we face today?

    I was emotional hearing this. I have worked very hard for a long time. Since I was 19 yrs old. I graduated college. Worked dead-end jobs, just to end up back in school. I had a daughter at 19 and 27. Each time I was in school. So where was my me time? I finally am in the end of my program and have excelled. I’ll be 30 this year. Why am I not happy? This year I’ve been so depressed not understanding why. I have so much to be happy for. This video gave me much clarity. I just need to understand me more and that I am only human and Its time to take time for me. I’ve worked hard all of my 20s and never once stopped to see if I was ok. Thanks for this video.

    Wow, seeing you up there speaking your truth with such poise and elegance really touched me! Seeing someone who look like me and is younger than me commit to this self love journey is so inspiring. I found you one day as I was looking for an apartment and there was a post of you sharing your Brooklyn loft! I read the entire article and then somehow I was led to your self love organization page. I quickly signed up to be added to the list. I knew that I wanted to be a part of a group of women like me who were working on healing! I started therapy a few days later and started my own journey of healing! It’s not easy but I keep pushing and taking my time day after day. I want you to be encouraged and know that you are doing a damn good job! You are touching lives by simply living in your truth! I can’t wait for your retreat in August! Wishing you nothing but the best!

    Very True we need to question our core beliefs which made us feel "not enough". Now after years and years we need to self heal ourselves and reprogram our minds to affirm that what was done to us was wrong and the only way to overcome this deep rooted belief is through authentic self love healing which will make us feel the way we were meant to feel and live the life we were meant to live as children of God and equal children belonging to the universe.🙏
