Hello, I’m Joe - I’m a guitar player, singer-songwriter, producer, recording engineer and teacher!
On this channel you’ll find my original songs, covers and solo fingerstyle guitar arrangements. My favorite music doesn’t fit neatly in a box so you may hear me play folk, blues, jazz, & classic rock - you can call it what you want; I feel honored to speak this timeless language of melody, harmony & rhythm.
I was born on May 25th 1991 in Kempsey, NSW, Australia. Since 2010 I have been based in the US and currently live in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my wife, Genevieve (who teaches illustration on TH-cam!).
I play Maton acoustic guitars, made in Australia (just like me) and am very proud to have my own signature instrument, the JR Signature!
In addition to song performances, you will also find guitar lessons, chord breakdowns, TAB, tutorials, gear reviews and other guitarist related content to help you stay inspired on the instrument.

I love these old standards! I will start on this arrangement today. For anyone else reading this comment- I can tell you first hand that Joe does a phenomenal job going step by step through these arrangements on his Synergy channel and you can actually learn his arrangements. He answered your questions and even does a Zoom with you once a month. Keep up the great work Joe and hope you make it out to the West Coast - perhaps in 2022? Glad you are doing more of these TH-cam videos but looking forward to a new CD of your originals!

Man, I'm just glad that you exist and that I can simply enjoy in every note you create. Go further and please don't ever put that guitar aside. I'm so mad because this days we don't have your music and similar as a main stream, instead we have show business and factory of money without a soul = no music. You have so so good songs and stuff. This is another level entirely showing your own melodic and creative flair with real diversity.
