Her: 30% piano skills
70% shakes head
I am thunderstruck by your beauty!
Thank you! I love an compliment that I haven’t asked for 😏 😂
I really dislike the over performance she brings to the stool, but her playing is absolutely great.
Thanks for another great video Matt!
I love how you transition your playing to them playing as it's so smooth and it's.like that in like all the vids so great job on the editing 👍
Thanks! I’m glad you appreciate those transitions…it’s a fun detail to add in 😊
I really like the videos Gamazda puts out while i'm not really qualified to pass judgement on her playing as she's light years ahead of me i just enjoy the mix of classical pop/rock cross over . Dream on she plays on the red casio is a really good piece .
13:04 the sound is definitely a VST, sounding a lot like Pianoteq specifically - I'm guessing audio-midi conversion or pianos with midi systems equipped when applicable
There's a reason why the piano tone sounds identical from the second clip to the last clip haha
Yeah I think she might play using midi and then in thunderstruck (for example) add some extra stuff before or after 😊
I always liked her playing. Even bought a few of her transcripts. I've been confused like you on some of her recordings on how the camera was used. I've noticed the keys are still down after she plays them for a few seconds then it goes up before she plays it again
There’s definitely some camera/audio layering going on…particularly for the recordings that are on digital pianos 😊
@@matticawood I just remembered I texted it to a friend so I found the video. It was her cover of Aerosmith Don't Wanna Miss a Thing at the 1:55 mark that notes stuck on her grand piano
The answer is obviously yes, the long answer is yes but while we just stare at this gorgeous woman for 5 minutes while she shreds a piano
What piano?
I was staring at the keys personally 😏 but each to there own 😂
Her piano playing it's good i like it
Yes Gamazda have a beautiful legs, anything else is secondary I think . Agreed ?
So do I…but I think my legs are secondary to the content 😂
valentina lisitsa is a pretty good pianist as well
She’s a very good pianist! In a very different category though 😊
The same as all of the trillion piano content creators, play fast, loud with quick articulation because people have forgotten what good music sounds like. Love the modern era of music, it's all to do with production now. There really is nothing to her playing apart from technique. It's my opinion. It's the musical equivalent of being drunk, thrown on a rollercoaster all while having ice water thrown over your head and loud sirens playing. Over stimulation much.
There’s nothing non-musicians love to listen to more than a loud quick arpeggio on the piano! 😂
@@matticawood couldn’t agree more, I love your channel for the soul reason, you are a natural musician you understand the art and to play my favourite piece which is Brahms intermezzo in A major, takes technique but also a musical understanding and ability to play softly and tenderly and to play loudly with that passion. People don’t listen to that music anymore it’s not so called ‘consumable’ and I wished that creators would actually bring that to everyone’s attention that there is some gorgeous music out there but has been stripped away because it’s all to do with production and how fast can I learn it. I don’t want to sit and actually listen for 5 minutes I want to listen for a minute and get the idea of the song so I can sing a long or dance to it or have it in the background while working.
Love the classical piece, she's amazing! But in beauty she's got nothing on you, Matthew! 😅
Please do Kyle Landry!!
react to kyle landry pls
Das what I'm saying! Kyle is a piano beast
Hey there! Could you please evaluate and react to Aqare's cover of Godrick The Grafted theme from Elden Ring? It's absolutely insane and I wonder if it's even real ^^
Matthey, imagine you had long blonde hair. Well, and maybe exchange your Y for an X chromosome. And you could (certainly would) by now also have almost 1 million subscribers.
So you’re saying I should grow out my hair? 😂
Can you please react to jova mosique
I love how your content is so elegant that it respects the beginners and the expert musicians, big love from Kuwait 🫡🤍
