I've put this as a past request but will do it again since I don't think it has been done yet 😁 I think you should give each of your kids a picture of an eye/lid broken down into sections (crease, lid, outter v, inner corner, waterline, etc.) Like a page from a coloring book. They color the pictures with crayons and then you recreate the looks. It could turn into a three part series! Plus we get to see those sweet kiddos

I got the L'Oreal primer too, tried it on and thought it was odd...though it dried down not as orangey. Then I discovered it is for Tan/Dark skin. Which I very much don't have. I'll file that under 'read the small print' 😂

This is very random, but in a vlog years ago you said "Haters don't wake up early" (I believe in the video you were showing a snippet of the editing/ uploading process and the video you had just uploaded didn't have any thumbs downs). Anyways, I think that quote to myself EVERY SINGLE MORNING when my alarm goes off. I've been getting up extra early for some 'me' time before anyone else in the house for a few months now. Lol just thought I'd share!

I ordered the Pat McGrath blush and highlight palette and the highlighter came broken and I pressed it back in with alcohol and it worked! I pressed it back in with a tissue to absorb the liquid and pressed it down with a quarter. science and makeup, my two favorite things!😂
I don't know if you have done this already but a comparison/try on of stick foundations video please! I am hoping for something long wearing, medium to full coverage if that even exists!
If you want full coverage, try a concealer stick. Neutrogena's works really well for me if I blend it out with a brush.
I'm so happy you mentioned the Trader Joe's sunscreen. It's the first sunscreen that hasn't broken me out or clogged my pores! I don't have the budget for the SuperGoop.

Can you do a minimalist makeup packing for vacation video
I got that Buxom palette and the same shade was broken. Contacted customer service and they sent me another one with the SAME shade broken. At least the second one was broken but still mostly in its place… vs the first one that vanished into a cloud of dust all over the place when I opened it. 😂 But clearly that shade missed a step in quality control!!

Your intro reminded me of the days when our daughter (who will be 50 this year) was in yearly dance recitals. Starting from the age of 4 until she was in college (by which time she was working part-time as a dance instructor at the same studio) we attended yearly recitals. Sometimes she would be in a half dozen different dances (jazz, tap, ballet, modern, and various competitive groups). But one particular recital I remember very clearly because all the lights on and lights off between each performance gave me one of the few migraine headaches of my life and it was a whopper!

Got2B Glued is what I use in my brows with a clean spoolie! It’s so perfect, I will never try a brow gel again.
I did a repress on one of the Milani powder blushes; the flower-shaped Romantic Rose. I added two little drops of rosewater-glycerin spray, and I swear that blush lasted so much longer on my face! That Buxom palette looks great on you Emily, even though you're kinda "meh" about it.
BTW, you can get depotting kits online that will include fine tools for packing in broken powders. Also, try using a pipette to distribute the alcohol 😀
How did the makeup hold up throughout the day and night? I think that primer is a no-go! Love your videos, all of them, all the time! 💖
it wore SO well! I only added a bit of powder to my tzone in the evening (and re-did the lip color), but the overall makeup wore great!

I'm VERY intrigued by those Essence PureNude Blushes, I hardly ever feel like blushes are pigmented enough because they seem to fade quickly unless I layer cream and powder.
They are really good and VERY pigmented. My favorite is the Berry Cheeks. I bought a couple of them and then started seeing TH-cam raving about them.

I’m not a 100% sure how an orange primer takes away the dullness. It reminded me of the 80’s “suntan” lotion. I use quotes because I think it had an spf of 3-5. The foundation was much prettier than I anticipated. You always look beautiful!
I love the Essence baked blushes. So good! My favourite so far is Goldy Cassis. I think I need to add the berry colour to my collection as well.

You are the only person ive ever seen put cream on top of powder. Idk if i could be confident enough to do it myself but i think i need to try it.
I love the Make up for ever skin matte. I have some rosacea and it covers it pretty well. When you first apply it’s very matte but then it blends into your skin ! I use a beauty blender to apply it. I recommend it!😊

I put the eye primer on my eyebrows too and it just make them look fuller and easy to stay color with powder or pencil color for the eyebrows .

I haven't fixed a broken powder product yet, but I once saved a bunch of cream blush singles from Salt New York because I'm an idiot who owned them for too long without using them and they began to form a waxy film that prevented the pigment from being accessed. I got the idea to gently melt them by laying each of the pans on the flat top of a wax melt warmer (with the little dish removed) just long enough to soften them, then stirred and mushed them around. Even though they were individual pans I couldn't perfectly press them back into their smooth shape but I don't care, it totally brought them back to life. The waxes just needed to be redistributed.
I've had to repress my fair share of makeup. The hardest was one of those teeny tiny compact viseart eyeshadow palettes. Never again 😂
That pain in yor lower lid could have been a swollen gland in the margin of your lid behind the lashes that put out the oil layer that keep your tears from evaporating too fast so your eyes stay moist. As a contact lens wearer, yours get a lot of use to keep those contacts moist. Inner rim liner can actually irritate those glands, so you were correct. Hope your eye is all recovered!

You need to use the sponge with the Make Up Forever HD powder. That makes it airbrushed! The sponge is the answer.

Super agree with you on the Buxom products. The primer… I feel the orange ish color will cling to any texture I have. Unfortunately I’m not able to to use powder foundation at all. Although it looks so pretty on you.

I was perusing Amazon today and saw that Maybelline is releasing a Super Stay Skin Tint with Vitamin C (June 1st release date on Amazon). It appears that it might be similar to the L'Oreal Hyaluronic Skin Tint, but it appears it will be slightly more affordable. I'd love to see your impression since I know how much you enjoy the L'Oreal!
I love the essence Pure Nude highlighter but the plastic compact is so cheap and flimsy! My packaging broke so I decided to depot the highlight by breaking it up and repressing it into an empty, intact powder compact. Much happier with it now, and it didn't really change the performance of the product.

Makeup Forever is so underrated. I don't buy a lot of their products, probably because they "last forever", but good quality for sure. I also bought the powder foundation, and it does last all day. It's great for minimal makeup days.
I also fell in love with the Essence blush. My favorite is the Golden Cassis. It's a gorgeous shade and not too bold on my fair skin, but can be built up. The only downside is that it doesn't last all day like the Too Faced blush.
I enjoy watching you try PR products. I trust your opinion and it's a great way for you try new products without spending extra $$, so we don't have to!

A video idea that could really help me out is makeup for sensitive skin. I’ve tried a few different foundations and eyeshadows and they almost all make my face itch 😅 yes, I’ve washed my makeup brushes, used brand new sponges, disposable sponges and freshly washed hands to apply the makeup to see if those were the cause. Still had allergic reactions 😢

That broken shade must be a manufacturing issue. Mine came broken also and when I went to Ulta to replace it that shade was cracked in every palette. Thanks for the advice it worked well for me.
Have you tried CoverGirl's twist up brow pencil (soft brown) or Shu Uemrua Hard Formula brow pencils (seal brown and stone grey)? Both are fantastic! The Shu Uemura pencils last a long, long time, worth the money.

okay Em, Nyx control freak is actually super good as eye lash primer. one coat on each lashes after curled and voila, last all day without looking funny

People say the other colors of that Essence blush aren't so glittery, but I'm gunshy to try more after the Pink Flush one. It wasn't shimmery, it had chunks of glitter that made the texture look terrible on my cheeks. I hate it, because it's such a pretty color on my fair skin, but I couldn't deal with feeling like I had body glitter on my face.
The other nurses and I were trying to think of another’s name and couldn’t. One finally said, “Glitter cheeks!” We all knew who it was. I would be SO embarrassed if that’s what I was known for. 🫠

I love powder foundation. It’s all I use, I never use a brush to apply. Prefer the sponge round applicator or a puff. And I prefer my face to look “dry” if the opposite is the oil slick look so popular right now. Dewy🤢😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂
Oh, phony ponies, both my girls to cheerleading. One went all the way through high school and into competition. The other one was happy with Wolfpack and didn’t wanna go on any further. Oh, I have an all the girls hair look the same that brings back memories. They’re grown now with children of their own. I guess cheerleading hasn’t changed at all.

pretty sure that color primer is meant for deep skin tones but I'm sure anyone can still use it to give it a try.
In a car accident, both my eyelids open one on top, the other one aligned my eyelash, hard for me to make the perfect eyeliner, I was able to done it when young but no 50 next month is getting harder.
