Looks lovely! I love your airplane skincare video. I know you undoubtedly do the same thing when you fly now but if someday you wanted to do another one I’d love to see it. With different products, same routine it would still be interesting! I use your Clemence Poesy video often to do my makeup for special occasions because my coloring is similar to hers.
My fave drugstore product are probably NYX lip liners and eyebrow powders. Also Revlon lipsticks. Burt’s Bees lip shimmers too.
I’m really enjoying that new Maybelline foundation, and I’ve liked the Fit Me pressed powder for ages. I find it’s so good for the price!

For the pixi blush, how did you know that the light pink wouldn’t look good? Trying to find a shade for myself and not sure how to tell what would look good. How did you know the deeper red would be best?

I love this as a nod to some of your og vids ❤ another trending blush is the Milk Makeup Jelly cheek tint but I don't consider them drugstore. I have seen Ulta come up with a dupe for it just wish a drugstore brand could make something similar!

Love this look! I do wonder though how the Pixi blush in Fleur would be too white for you to use as a blush (which when you applied it as a highlighter became apparent) but I feel like I've also seen people with darker skin than you use it and it looks more normal and less pastelly white once they blend it in. I'm not sure why that is.

Pixi blush is one of my faves, but is as pricey as mac and bobbi brown in Chile. Not on the drugstore alley.

You said something negative about almost every product. I'm not sure why name brands are upset people choose products they like that are not as expensive as the overpriced name brands. I have Lisa's products, and I have drug store. I'll buy far less name brand because I'm not going to spend that much money on makeup. So yes, people like the drug store products and will continue to. Consumers need value, not a name and price tag to go with it. We're not shopping for a car, it's makeup and now companies throw some skincare ingredients in for what we're supposed to think is making it worth even more money.
I didn't notice her being negative. I thought she showed the products very well.
I'm confused as to where you're getting this from. I thought she was pretty positive about the products overall. She just said the pixi blush was so emollient that it could be a little greasy, but otherewise she seemed pretty satisfied.
@@pheart2381 Lisa said, foundation shade too light, had to blend, pixi blush is white chalky, greasy, waxy, moves foundation if not careful, bronzer, greasy, powder, silica white powder on face, eye shadow needed primer bc of greasy base from bronzer, brow gel can leave white cast, lip liner too yellow, lip color waxy. She used very negative wording describing products that you don't want to have products described as. She says she's happy but she uses words like greasy, chalky, waxy, silica, yellowish, which are not positive about products.
@@Star_._ The shade of foundation she had didn't quite match her but that's true of many brands and she was quite positive about the foundation once she had mixed her shade. The first shade of pixi blush might have looked chalky on her because she isn't pale enough for it. She did like the other shade, and it only moved the foundation when she swiped it on, which isn't how she likes to apply any kind of cream product. Powder and silica aren't negative words. A silica powder is just a type of powder that can be high end or drugstore, it's just any powder with silica in it, and all she said was to be careful how you apply. If you put a cream bronzer that isn't designed for eyes on your eyes, you might need to set it because it is greasier than an eye product usually would be, but that doesn't mean it's a bad bronzer. I might be misremembering but I thought she said that while brow gel could leave a white cast she was finding that this one didn't. Also, waxy is a word Lisa has used to describe lip products of all price points, especially longer lasting ones. I don't think it's meant to be positive or negative, it's just a neutral description. I'm not saying she loved every product, but I don't think she was negative about drugstore products overall.
Elf are all vegan, that's their selling point which you failed to mention.
