I love love love how Emily just keeps on keeping things fresh! It never feels like the same old thing here. Her passion and honesty combined with her clever and new ideas combined with her positive attitude and kind nature - the best!! Thank you, Emily!
I know I agree with you. I really do have some products that I love the way they feel when I apply with fingers, some I love because it’s a stick and it feels so smooth but you think I wonder if other people are like that too. And Emily is one of those people and I love it
For my one year of sobriety I treated myself to my Tom Ford eyeliner, Luminous Silk foundation, Givenchy powder, Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Bronzer, Natasha Denona My Dream palette. I feel like a goddess whenever I use these to create a beautiful canvas! My makeup and skincare has helped me fall back in love with myself and regain the confidence I had once lost! ❤
Yay! Congratulations! I’m going on 4 years sober! Makeup and skincare is really helping me too! It gives us something to concentrate on and helps us feel good about ourselves again. I know exactly how you feel. 😊 Keep up the great work!
It is so refreshing to watch a beauty content creator that still has such a positive attitude. I get the feeling the trend moving from long form content to short form content is taking a toll on many beauty content creators. Thank you for the video. The fresh perspective is appreciated.
Her voice is ASMR for me. I love her content but sometimes when I need to sleep I listen to a video and it helps me fall asleep. Only when it’s a video I’ve already seen of course. 😊

Emily has become such a staple to my morning routine. I awake before everyone and enjoy coffee in the dawn, while listening to the soothing sounds of Emily and taking in ALL of the recommendations and feeling peace.
Watching you makes me happy and feel grateful for what I have and not like I need to run out and buy everything brand new. Thank you, Em for your authenticity and love for what you do!
Emily, I’ve watched you since your pink room days, and I wanted to thank you… not only for the endless input on makeup products and teaching me application techniques, but also for sharing your positive outlook on life ❤️
I love how you’re well-spoken, Emily. I can tell you were raised in a wholesome house (I love when we get to see your parents & family in videos). You are such a good mama, good wife, good daughter, and good sister. I love the godly purity that comes from your channel. I just love you.
Currently 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby, bouncing on my birth ball enjoying your video!!! I always love how you use items already in your collection - never gets old and inspires me to revisit some of my favorites!! ❤ thanks for always being you!
Sitting in the discomfort and anticipation of labor for my 2nd baby, and a little Emily joy brought me some comfort! Thanks for a positive video, Em! 🩷
I always go over my eyes with translucent setting powder, after primer. I started because I have a dry patch above my crease that will not accept any shadow without a dusting of powder. Beautiful look and some great life advice. I love you Em!❤
Emily, thank you for being conscientious of deeper skin tones as you discuss products! Its thoughtful and it gives a platform for people with deeper skin tones to consider certain brands and products even though you’re not applying those tones. Please keep putting out amazing content!
Watching you do a full face of makeup is so satisfying ❤ What’s also satisfying is that I see all these makeup artists saying, don’t put creams on after powder, and don’t draw the stick bronzers all over your face and then blend. But you do both and it always looks amazing!!! You rebel😂 So now I do both and I never have any issues either ☺️
haha! :D I think sometimes when people create a certain makeup "rule"... there's a certain product/experience somewhere along the line that made them do it. I say, if you like the look & it feels right to you- go for it!
I agree! I always powder my entire face, then put on my cream bronzer. It just doesn’t look right if I do it right after foundation. It lifts my foundation then I can see my skin right under the bronzer. I like it so much more after powder. Same thing with my cream blushes 😊
I have a playlist of your videos that lift me up. I immediately feel better when I start watching them. Adding this one to the list. You are good for the soul Emily. And you look STUNNING in this one!!!
I so appreciate your true love and passion for makeup, but also for just life, in general. I love listening to thunder and rain falling. I love the first rays of sun in the morning and a soft, mellow sunset. I agree, that slowing down to appreciate the gifts in every day. Have a blessed day, Emily 😘😘
Thank you for this video, really enjoyed it. Got jealous hearing the thunder, this corner of AZ has gone over 100 days with no rain and temps over 110 for about 3 weeks.
I love the elf under eye brightener. I've tried a lot of high end ones including the Becca and I like this one even better. It is so much easier to work with.
I enjoy watching your content so much! It is like relaxing with an old friend who helps me remember that my makeup looks and the process does not need to be so serious! I appreciate you walking us through your process and sharing what you enjoy. I love diamond art too! I use my makeup time, playing Animal Crossing, and diamond art time as my Mommy's free time. All of them are so relaxing and enjoyable! ❤
I find the process of applying makeup to be almost a zen moment for me. I truly enjoy it. I love that you are embracing the idea of "enjoying the process" of applying makeup.
Your skin looks flawless, those products worked so well together. I’m ready for deep rich eyes/lips. I started Diamond painting last year, it’s a lot of fun, very relaxing. I would recommend getting a light board/pad when you start your larger one, it’s a flat LED light that you place underneath, it really helps you see the color codes with less eye strain. I also recommend getting a couple of larger trays that you can easily line up several gems in a row. They sell pens that can pick up rows of gems at one time when doing a large block of the same color. I picked up a kit off Amazon that was a storage case for the gems but it also came with various tools. You’ll want storage to place your beads in rather than fighting to get it back in the little plastic bag. I just purchased a greeting card kit that you accent with the gems, it’d be a fast little project too. I’ll have to look for your sister’s kit!
I love it all! I leave for work at 6:30 AM every morning. I get up at 4:30 every morning and spend almost an hour getting ready in front of my make up mirror with my beloved make up around me, and if I’m lucky, watching one of your videos! The absolute best part of my day.
Emily you turned me on to Em Cosmetic. Thank you so much. I think it's the best curated Cosmetics line, along with Persona. Also you and your family just exude kindness.❤

Thank you so much for pointing out that there are folks who have trouble with some product designs... brush handles, mascara tubes & wands, eye pencils... other "stick" products... I speak from experience that there are days that I just can't use certain products because of my hand issues. What a beautiful look, Emily! It was fun to watch you really enjoying the process!
Em! Love the video. I have really had to make myself slow down and enjoy the process! The photo focus foundation never lets me down. 1. I love everything about the thought behind this video and loved listening to you talk through everything. ❤ 2. About eyeshadow sticks. I love them. I use the Mac primer but very lightly. 1. I love everything about the thought behind this video and loved listening to you talk through everything. ❤
2. About eyeshadow sticks. I love them. I use the Mac primer but very lightly. And then I set it lightly with the bare minerals pressed powder. Let that set for a min or two and then go with the sticks. I wish I could go without primer and powder. But my lids are SO greasy.
