Thanks for the general overview. Easily the best 11 minutes I've found about sleep number so far !

I got a sleep Numbers Bed and best thing I ever did, it prevented me from going into a wheelchair now and I am once again able to stand and walk. 3 weeks after getting my bed mt doctor was shocked to see how much better I was doing. I am so glad I got my Sleep Numbers Bed and I feel everyone should have one but I know everyone can't afford it.

I had one for many years, hated it, tolerated it by adding an after market memory foam top, and eventually gave it away. I kept it so long because of the price I paid, and how long it lasts. The air bags are similar to a raft's material, very tough, reinforced, and not stretchy or giving. Once the air is compressed inside the airbag based on your body weight, that's the firmness you get at any number. The difference in number only lifts or sinks you into the air bag at the same firmness level dictated by the identical air pressure caused by your body weight. That's my experience and analysis. I was so happy changing to a memory foam mattress.

In theory it sounds great. I had one for about 5 years. One side wouldn’t stay full. I called about the warranty. They wanted me to figure out what was wrong. I didn’t know if if were the air chamber or the motor. I was supposed to figure it out. Plus they prorate the warranty. It would have cost 50% to replace whatever was wrong. I threw it out and got a Tempurpedic. Don’t waste your money!

Exactly where I am right now. I’ve had it for 3 years, it’s killing my back and neck. Time for a change, I’ll take a look at the tempurpedic.

      How is the temperpedic

    • @sakthishrajendran4264

Tempurpedic is not cheap , sleep number is an expensive bed but tempurpedic is 2-3 times more than sleep number. So it’s not a fair comparison.

Super helpful!! I bought a sleep number this summer and hate it. Wish I watched this before I made the most expensive mistake I have made a while 😣

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Wife and I are trying to figure out which type of bed we should buy and this really gave us a good sense of what to look for.

I bought a Sleep Number mattress. It was great for 3 years. Then, it was a nightmare. I made several calls. Once I had to call after 7 p.m. The employees were located in Asia? They could not understand what I was saying. Like a new car, the bed probably will work for 3 years. Now, when the bed breaks down, which it will, where will you sleep? Good luck! Only ask friends who have bought one for their opinions. Good luck!

Is there any difference between a new queen C4 mattress and a C4 that is 7 years old?

This seemed more like an infomercial than a review. I’ll check out your other reviews. Are there alternatives because these are very pricey.

I BOUGHT A SLEEP NUMBER NEVER AGAIN ! HAD FOR 5 YEARS AN JUST FINISHED PAYING IT OFF LAST YEAR , DURING THE 5 YEARS i DID A ONE TIME FACTORY REPLACEMENT AND RECIENTLY ONE SIDE HAS A SLOW LEAK AND THE OTHER HAS GONE COMPLEATLY FLAT. I DID THE TEST AND ITS THE MATTRESS AND NOT THE HOSES OR THE PUMP. TOO EXPENASIVE FOR TOO MUCH TROUBLE. PS IT HAS A $150 MATTRESS PROTECTOR

I have had mine for 5 years. The mattress was set at 55 and now it's set at 100. The mattress is so out of shape. Should I just throw out the mattress? What about the rest of it I just don't want it anymore

Are they plugged in? Can you hear the inflation/motors?

    • @Owlighty
      @Owlighty 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

They use one 3-prong outlet and the pump is piston driven. Not loud at all.

Tried one today. The inflation is slower than expected, but whisper quiet. Not likely to wake the other person in the bed.

I love all of the information that you’ve given. You do a great job of keeping it short and concise, answering the questions that everybody most wants to hear. My only critique is please don’t use your hands so much it’s very distracting. Just my two. Cents.
