This was the most helpful video I’ve seen on the topic. Straight to the major points which then gets me started. From here I can know what to look at more specifically such as memory foam comparisons or different hybrid types. Thank you!
Our mattress is coming up 10 years old in 2013. Our mattress makes my lower back and hips ache and I'm tired every morning. My husband likes a hard mattress, and I'm a side sleeper who likes more softness at the hip and shoulder line. This information is helpful, I think I will head to your website and look for some more information, reviews and coupons. Thanks!
I experience numbness on my arms, shoulders, back, rear and legs on whichever side I lay on. With my current 8 inch foam mattress I just sink almost down to the wooden base. Any area of my body I lay on with any pressure goes partly numb from sinking into the mattress nearly to the base. What kind of spring or hybrid mattress offers the best support to prevent sinking too far, but is still soft enough to not add more pressure causing numbness? What other suggestions do you have for finding a mattress supportive enough but not too firm?
My friend would work nights and sleep in their chair. He hated his mattress so I'd sleep in it when we'd hang out at his place. It was literally the most delectable sleep I've ever had and I have no idea what the make and model was. All I can say is the thing was like sleeping on pudding. It was deep, cool, so soft. It cradled me. Was incredible. I spend the time to say this because no memory foam mattress I've found was like this.
Someone please help me! I am mostly a side sleeper, but end up in every position throughout the night. I wake up about every 30 minutes to an hour to change positions. For reference, I am petite (115 pounds), sleep alone, and am hot natured. have had 2 major shoulder surgeries, but I prefer to sleep on my side which is painful. Throughout my journey, I have tried a Stearns and Foster (too hot and too much cradling/sinking) vispring elite (also too hot and uncomfortable), and currently I am on my trial period for the new purple restore premier firm. My main issue is that everything I try sleeps hot. The other issue is that once I get a new mattress, it feels incredibly comfortable. After a few days go by and the mattress begins to “break in” and the initial cushioning goes down, I am in excruciating pain. The purple mattress I currently have has been the only thing I have tried that doesn’t have me burning up after an hour, but while lying on my back it is too soft from my hips sinking, and on my side my shoulders do not sink enough and I wake up often to change positions. Every morning my body feels all out of wack. If I sleep on my back, I need a medium firm mattress, and if I’m on my side, I need a softer mattress. I do not like memory foam due to sleeping hot, and I prefer to be on vs in the mattress. I haven’t had a good nights sleep in years, and could really use some advice on where to go from here.
I am a little concerned though as I just ordered a new Queen size bed and went with firm. I sleep on my side, hopefully it won’t cause issues. I hope I ordered the right bed as my other one I bought from Mattress mart only lasted 2 or 3 years before it got wear and tear and started sagging and dipping. Also I have siotic nerve issues and hope the new firm bed I ordered will be good. Don’t even buy a bed from Mattress mart, they don’t last and all the past beds I bought from there only lasted 2 or 3 years if lucky.
I have seen different bed style video's and I also came across many American video's and it surprises me that literally nobody in America has 2 different bedbases and different matrasses and 2 different duvets in one bed? I mean, couples have different bodies, different weight and height, different shapes and different preferences for a mattress? One person of a couple likes to have a down duvet, the other person wants wool, for example. And sharing a duvets is already so annoying? Why is that so different in America? I mean if I want to have a new mattress they measure things like pressure points and check if my backbone is straight, things like that. To me it looks like all wearing the same shoes.
I moved into a new place 6 months ago, and it was furnished.. the minute I got inside my house I sat on the bed, and I was like this is a NOPE... I literally went to a furniture store same day, and spent 1500 bucks on a new bed.. it took a week to get to my place so I literally found a temporary house to live at because I refused to sleep on that mattress LOL....

Turn a fan on and ur AC down. Every bed is gonna warm up as ur sleeping on it, no matter the material
