I showed him this video, and asked him if he could make one of these for me. The look on his face was priceless! He said he didn't know how to go about figuring out the angles. I said..well guess you must learn about that huh. He just looked at me and said...I got homework to do. 😆 I believe with your help we reached this boy. Thankyou!!!!! Also, wonderful art piece. It's gorgeous.
ohhh purple heart,,,, dense stuff, hard to work with... and what ever you do, dont get a piece of it in your eye, the oil in the wood will turn your eye into the deseret thats on fire... cocobola does the same too.. but I do luv the color tho when its freshly cut. the finished item definately shows off the precision needed to create it, awesome as usual... you must have stamped the bottom of the support ;)

That was truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship to create that work of art. I don't think i would have even had enough patience to cut up all wedges that you used to reassemble/assemble into that, much less all the iterative steps that you had to go through before you could even begin the wood turning portion. Just WOW! You always impress, and this is certainly no exception. Thanks for sharing, and take care.
