As much as always keep mace smash charged, keep in mind that the enemy team can hear the charge so if you are sitting around a corner expecting for people to be surprised by you, you will most likely be the one getting surprised instead

The only part I would Buff barbatos a bit is making the slam hitbox just slightly wider. Not much but like a 1% increase because I swear I hit the slam on someone but their barely out of range of the slam.
Ikr I literally smash people infront of me and won't stun them. Idk what's going on
Hitbox right now feels pretty awful tbh, you can miss some stuff that definitely feels like it should have hit. Hope they increase it just a bit as well.

@@vcommandarv5916agreed, it’s a badass, but it’s only broken ability is it’s beam resist coating(although we don’t know how well it works against other universe beams).

You can also cancel his mace charge by swinging and letting go of RMB. It doesn't work if you're sprinting or dashing though.

Overwatch 2 flopped but when I did play I mained genji and Reinhart. Mix that with the fact that I loved his anime and you have one very happy murder machine
God I just got the game and Barbie and gramps are carrying me through games I just learnt Barbie is great with flanking slashing attacks through the enemy, back into friendly lines

How do you mace smash against moving targets easily? Due to Barb's small horizontal hitbox it's really hard to hit enemies when they're moving to the left and right
This guide was made during the beta before the hitbox nerfs. Current suggestion though? Use your sprint instead of dash. Burns their dashes and you can slam em.

trying to learn how to play this guy and i just cant figure out why every slash in my ult just makes me launch super high up help please ( similiar to this one 6:04)
I believe this is a bug. It didn't behave this way in the beta. Right now I just point down at an angle and pray.
Do a lil jump should help a little till the bug gets patched.

Anyone know why when i use the Ultimate, barbados goes up with his slashes and not….straight?
either you're on a slanted piece of terrain or you are aiming slightly upwards, aim more down for a nice flat line
honestly I been playing as him and his range is extremely deceptive because you have to be extremely close they should extend the range a bit to match the animation

Unrelated but it’s funny how Gundam Evolution is what happens when someone is like “What if we took the *worst* gameplay from Overwatch, and made its problems (including the ones it already solved) even worse?”
Not gonna lie they need to fix his hit boxes hes can whiff so easily soemtines

By the way, do you ever have trouble dealing with Guntank? Idk why but he seems to constantly make it JUST out of my reach a lot of the time when I try to close on him. It's prob just poor dash management on my end, but I'm curious if anyone else has had any issues fighting him.
Is it just me or does his Ult fly upward at a 45% angle more often than not and whiff over peoples heads in the back line

Broken character, should not be in game imo. Least needs a HP nerf
Just dodge my guy, the slam hitbox is super small. Only way barb gets kills is if you don't see him. Otherwise just dodge and melt him. He really can't do much once he wiffs his smash.

Wow I've completely been playing him wrong this entire time. I always wanted to try him out because I really liked IBO but I'm more of a Pale Rider/Unicorn main. Definitely going to try Barbatos again using your advice.
