This game was supposed to be Japan's Overwatch but too bad there aren't enough Gundam fans and or gamers to support this title. Really fun game too.
I don’t think it really has to do with there not being enough Gundam fans. The game failed to capitalize on it’s hype and ended up just being forgotten about by most people. It had a lot of potential but also a fair share of issues. Honestly wish the game got better support than it did.
It definitely wasnt due to a lack of gundam fans, the game launched with a 55k player peak with likely more in Japan. Most players stopped playing due to the server issues on launch, but it was put in the grave due to its monetization.
@@immortalsausages5501Not only that, but it lost great 0layerbase value because it was region locked, here in brazil we only got access into the game after it was already mid way though its lifespan
I literally couldnt play this game without making a US account, the region locking was a disaster lmao, like I can play 99% of games but EVO decided to have limited servers.
@@shinsolaire7099 Yeah, also when it got global access, it just kinda shadow droped as something with no importancr
I'm gonna miss this game regardless of its issues that have largely been fixed. Servers seem so much more stable as of late. Here's hoping the efforts of getting private servers up and running end up successful.

The one that got me was the HEAVYARMS reveal. The first Teaser trailer used the comercial dialogue of the original TOONAMI COMERCIAL OF GUNDAM WING!!! I loved it!

God, that last one is always gonna be sad. I always loved watching the opening cinematic to this game, all the little details, nods, and sound effects just made it so much more epic. The only game i've ever truly obsessed over, and the only one to make me feel like an innocent kid again. Hurts knowing its gone.
A salute to all those playing to the end, fighting on despite knowing what will come. For fun, for glory, blaze on, GUNDAM Pilots!
It is sad to see that this game could’ve absolutely survived if it had released in any other time
Seeing what Bandai has planned for the gundam franchise it is clear to see that they’re going as hard as humanly possible to monetize every bit of the franchise, with gundam nfts and the 100 million gundam metaverse project and gundam evolution was a sad aftermath of their greed as it’s clear the game suffered greatly from business meddling which didn’t give the time or money for the devs expand the range of the game so it could stand out on its own
It’s clear the developers loved the franchise and tried their hardest to make a good game but they clear had people breathing behind their backs when the game didn’t get the numbers they expected
I miss playing it man

I truly started playing the game when HeavyArms was announced. Before that I casually played it or I hardly played the game reason because I wasn’t good at the game untill I used Pale Rider
