Sir Anti Dote, The Vengeful Doctor of Doom (phd in toxicology), curing the world from poison one blunt hit at a time.
"You wanna know how big daggerfall is? ..." *Procedes to the 4th repeating dungeons given by the same npc again*
The game is "big" in the same way that running on a treadmill is running far.
I will hate on bethesda and their games and design philosophy all day.
but you don't need to straight up lie about them to do so.
the main story dungeons he's doing the last couple videos are not repeating dungeons full stop.
the names and sprites repeating is extremely egregious though.
Those videos came out at the time where i was during process of joining my new job and the initial trainings and tests. I use those to turn my brain into "low battery mode". Just some stream of thoughts not related to work and some game in the background. Thanks Josh.
just as I finish part 5, part 6 comes out! perfect
Honestly didn't think I'd keep watching after the 1st episode, and yet here I am waiting for ep 7... Hopefully Josh will get an *Orcane Intellect* that doesn't break after 5 minutes of usage.
This has been fascinating to watch. The first real video game that I "played" was Might & Magic 6 in 1998. Mostly watched my dad play it because I was 6 lol, it came with a physical big BLANK world map that you had to fill in as you explored in the game. You could mix the potions to create different potions (blue/yellow potions make green potions for example) which blew my mind as a kid. I believe it was turn based though, so it's quite amazing to see Daggerfall from a similar time with real time combat. Anyway, the story of M&M6 is one of the greatest of all time and should not be slept on. It is more grand than the "main quest" of Daggerfall just because of the nature of the game. This has me wanting to give it another honest go so many years later.
Update: After actually sitting in front of my PC I ended up going with a Morrowind playthrough. It's been an experience playing it again after watching how Josh approaches Daggerfall (I have no watched his Morrowind playthrough). It'll be interesting to watch that one after my own experience, finally feel like I'm playing it the way it's meant to be played lol
Yes! I am about to finish part 5 and now I see this uploaded! Thank you!
he answered the questions and it recommended him being an archer. He is an archer. He needs to embrace this.
I'm currently playing this game with a class that can't use magic and I'm loving every second of it even though it's a pretty bad first experience not being able to use magic
É meio doloroso não poder usar teleporte, mas mesmo sem mágica você consegue se dar bem com os itens mágicos que encontrar
"Attaboy" isn't intrinsically patronizing, but it is archaic.
Allegedly, as requested
First rule of Archeologist guild is DONT TALK ABOUT THE ARCHEOLOGIST GUILD!
3:05 There is nothing going on inside that little clouds head lol.
I read “bottom text” at least two thousand times while watching this.
the npc fighting each other remind of the fighting fantasy books. sometimes you open a door and golbins are fighting or whatever
0:36 can Confirm you are on my primary monitor (laptop) but I'm listening, not watching as watching would be overwhelming, but this way its just whelming.
while waiting for the next episode I watched the whole morrowind playthrough. Please make a part 7
I checked and he's still streaming it but these videos are like 4 streams put together in think
I have a 6 monitor sim setup but the stream only ever makes it to monitor 6 in a buried background tab on the forgotten minimized browser tucked in the hidden taskbar.
I enjoy my real life tactical sleeps
48:50 According to the interwebs, chausses is pronounced shows.
can safely say, ive never played a stealth archer in skyrim ever
Ahhhhh finnnallllyyyy .... I can get some sleep
I didn't know I needed cute white doggo but I do
9:00 the day i learned emotes are only unlocked for 24 hours is the day i stopped caring. Which was approximately one day after i unlocked them.

He has about 186,000 pages, and is even bald, bearded, and British, with glasses!
That last bit is an exploit, he had lasic, the glasses are fake now, but branding is a harsh mistress.
Ultimate youtuber!!!
YOU SPOKE THE NAME OF THE FORBIDDEN APP
Needs more daggerfall
Just a small tip: NPCs will actually stop when you approach with your weapon holstered.
I'm so invested!!!
As per the open of this recording, your videos are the ones playing on the second browser open in my second monitor that I usually get the most distracted by.
I dont purchase anything on my phone. Its either in person or from the PC.
When you make a large purchase you want to be more informed about it. I find it easier to do research on my PC.
Daggerfall Unity is such a good game. It's very fun.
Have a sad feeling this series is over :(
4:04:00 totally a movie "click" moment.
This is Matthew Berry's burner account?
What do? When will we continue with the falling Dagger? (Can’t believe I’ve watched all six parts in three days…)
I just came here to say that I'm proud of Raven.
I know your typical english pride prevents you from admitting you actually want to improve your pronounciation of French words. So I'll do it for you. "Chausses" is not pronounced "chossyz" but just "choss".
In French, the final "e" of words is usually silent and if a word ends by "-es", that's often a plural and then the final "s" is silent aswell.
The next time don't be shy, I'll be glad to explain more French ! We know you english guys are so modest you hate asking for help.
Oh thank goodness.
I was worried about the tax fraud
Sweet doggy
enchant item fortitude :D
3:25:00 this section is not compelling puzzle solving. It's just tedious busy work.
Bethesda doesn't understand why their games are successful because Bethesda still thinks they're making games; they're making modding frameworks. I didn't buy Fallout 4 for Fallout 4, I bought it for the mods that would be made for it, same reason I'll buy ES6. And, imo, it's half of why Fallout 76 was received so poorly - half because it was clearly cranked out on a pathetically shortened timetable to capture a flavour of the month a year or more late, and half because the multiplayer nature of it meant that if mods were even allowed, they would be severely curtailed.
Moreso, I'd say they're in the business of creating worlds. They've never been among the best at crafting RPG or gameplay systems, but they did have a knack of handcrafting compelling worlds that players wanted to spend time in. With Starfield, they neglected their biggest strength, and the final product suffered because of it.
and thats why you should be ashamed to give them money.
stop.
they make garbage now. stop supporting their garbage.
@@bobbobbins4877 no they don't lol.
skyrim was not a "compelling world" nor was Starfield or oblivion and daggerfall unmodded is exactly what you expect from a procedurally generate world, repeated garbage. a technically impressive technical feat with little reason to exist even back in 96 when it was competing with games of the day.
what bethesda has is a marketing budget.
they have never made an actually good game except maybe morrowind but I can't be bothered to play it since litterlally every other game they ever made was terrible I must assume the people saying morrowind was good though are collectively hallucinating.
the skyrim world was just offensive in both its construction and banality and yes I am still mad people convinced me to play it.
@@bobbobbins4877 starfield was the epitome of bethesda game design. they have no strengths to lean on. the fun parts of their games are fun IN SPITE of bethesdas design philosophy, they are accidents.
Those dungeons are the _exact_ reason the compass mod is mandatory for me every game, above everything else. It's still not perfect but it makes finding hidden doors SO much easier to deal with because as much as I stick to the left wall strats that's always what ends up destroying me.
14:20 omg Josh is an MF DOOM fan too?
you and he were... buddies, weren't you?
I flipped on my second monitor, put this tab on it, and fired up osrs. Within 30 seconds you go talking second monitor stuff and I immediately start laughing when I realize what I just did.
he knows what youre doing
where is your uniform ^^ Strawberries are the best fruit to grow on osrs since a basket of strawberries is second best hp per inventory slot after sara brew ;] pro strats
These ads are insane, 24 minutes in and there have been 8.
4:36:11
"...not fully remake" Only rewrite the entire game in a different engine xD
I'D LIKE TO SEE SKYRIM
It may be the most ad-ridden video on YT I've seen so far.
Rats
first
seeing his chat think AI made games will be a good thing at 1:08:33 is depressing. simply the power consumption alone is grotesquely unethical. before we get to the simple fact that no it will never be able to make a worthwhile quest or image or sound let alone an entire sandbox.
