I'd imagine that the game might be attractive to people who want a free MMO that they can just putter around in without much commitment to long questlines and such.
I assume Josh just sat there whining and telling the devs how he'd make the game better. Had to block that loser's channel from clogging my feed ages ago. His voice is unbelievably grating.
Thats cuz the guy in the video didn't play the real game. I've played it for 10 years straight and I've never completed the quest of bane that's not the game.
"But first, we have to talk about this video's sponsor." Oh great, here comes the Raid or World of- "Guild Wars 2." Oh. Um. Okay. A regular video game. And a very fitting one at that. A sponsor I respect the product of? What a twist! (This isn't knocking anyone taking deals from either of those, gotta pay the bills somehow)
This game was at one point not far off other f2p games, browser or not -- and the art style was *almost* completely different. Much more "RuneScape". Back then skills didn't exist, and the game was just "go through portals into dungeons to upgrade your gear. Find the stairs and go down to make it harder". I remember me and my friends got so excited to get to floor 100 lol

I was addicted to this game, and losing progress
I remember using cheat engine on this game and getting super speed and unlimited gold and potions and being unstoppable
Its hilarious that he promoted an equally terrible mmo for his sponsor
MEMORY UNLOCKED
Free to play browser games have been around for almost 25 years. Disney even had them in the late 90s. Now the internet archive has plenty. Even dead mmos
I remember i had 2 great friends in that game when i had like 9 years old . Never managed to find them again
i also thought this was a dream aswell, i tried searching for it for so long till my friend reminded me about it like 1y ago and i was like "holy shit its real"
I just cant believe someone looked at this game with n64, ps2, gamecube, and ps3 graphics all combined together... and thought it looked great and should be released that way.
I love how the ppl in you game chat were just speaking portuguese at 7:22
I'd imagine that the game might be attractive to people who want a free MMO that they can just putter around in without much commitment to long questlines and such.
sherwood dungeon, the first one, was great when I was a child and could not afford WoW
Quite a different approach Josh Strife Hayes took, but you killed Bane still.
I assume Josh just sat there whining and telling the devs how he'd make the game better. Had to block that loser's channel from clogging my feed ages ago. His voice is unbelievably grating.
How tf do you play for 20 years it doesn't seem that long and it caps out doesn't it
Thats cuz the guy in the video didn't play the real game. I've played it for 10 years straight and I've never completed the quest of bane that's not the game.
Played the even older version of this in highschool during class
"But first, we have to talk about this video's sponsor."
Oh great, here comes the Raid or World of-
"Guild Wars 2."
Oh. Um.
Whatever you're going to say (because I'm watching the video as I type) keep in mind that for many people this MMO is the best thing that could have happened to us... I personally had 3 clans that I joined when I was a child. Also the roleplays I had with my friends were amazing.
I met many people, made my first virtual friends and had my good and bad experiences... But above all, with a low-end notebook and my 14 years, I was happy.
this was on so many Flashgame websites too, I totally forgot about this game
No fucking way. I always remember going to a friend's house and seeing their brother playing an MMO that i could never remember the name of, it's been like fucking 13 years ive been trying to figure it out and here it is.
for those wondering, the world chat had a lot of brazilian players talking tru the whole video. Flora wants to date Clebix but Bikita enters in thr love triangke... insane love story
that one guy playing this for 20 years is insane actually what the heck 😐
I had a buddy that found this at home and introduced it to us all in the computer lab. We had 15 people playing Club Penguin and the other 15 playing Sherwood lol. Good times
The fact that we didnt get to see you use the darkblood sword of darkbloodness is so sad.lol
I REMEMBER THIS GAME! I could recognize that goofy stance of stock animation ANYWHERE
I seen alot worse
Holy fucking shit you just unlocked a core memory
Actually looks kind of fun. How long did the grind take to 15?
It's not really fun, theres nothing to do. People only roleplay on this game
@@nielsb8299 its fun
