That's exactly what went through my mind as I learned about this card. Also while it's better than other 5% cards in some ways, it's not miles better. Thanks for watching!
I'm actually intrigued by the way this might show up on my credit report differently than a traditional credit card. I have a somewhat thin credit profile with only credit cards, so I wonder if this card would improve my credit mix.
Yeap it's good to have a more diverse credit profile, so long as payments for everything are on time and in full. If you also value cash back rewards, this would be a solid option for you!
Oof the way this card accrues interest is NOT great 😅. Basically gives very little leeway when it comes to paying the full balance extremely quickly. Thanks for the video Monty!
Aside from that, the card is a good card to team up with the Discover It Cash Back, Chase Freedom Flex and the Citi Custom Cash. Even though the Custom Cash is for only $500 monthly and you choose the category via highest spend. I have 2 Citi Custom Cashes of them and one was a product change from a Citi Double Cash. I have all of the latter 3.
Yeap not a fan of how the card works, but if indeed you can automate payments & avoid interest, it's intriguing for people focusing on cash back. Thanks for watching Mark!
That's a weird card. I mean the 5% really gets your attention then when you find out more about it you just want to pass it up. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely, since this card only covers 1 category at 5%, you'll need other cards like the ones you mentioned to get (almost) 5% on everything.
first time im hearing of this not a "credit card"
Right these fintechs be trying to innovate i suppose.
I’m not a fan of these cards, they act like a line of credit and function like a personal loan with set payments not like an actual credit card.
Yeap I think if this worked like a traditional credit card and showed up on your credit report as such, it'd be far more intriguing.
