Many commenters say how this video is ridiculously unnecessary, as EVERYONE knows how to crack eggs and separate yolks from whites, but I beg to differ. I found some methods ridiculously creative and inspiring. Good job!
I feel the same! Just discovered it now and am glad there are so many options to use besides using the hands which can be ick! The ostrich egg was also extremely fascinating to me so I am glad it was included :D
Why is everyone talking about rubbing their darn fingers with a garlic clove? No one seems to test whether that method works without. Many of these seem superior anyway.
Here I am arguing with myself to buy an egg seperator gadget & I have most of these ideas at home. Must try the shot glass one as we have so many from another life.
Separating the yolk and the white of an ostrich egg looks hard to do on your own. I mainly use my hands to handle eggs, though I have to wash my hands before and after.
Simple and nice video, idk why so much negatives comments. Thay want every time hard dish making? Silly. (my opinion). Ppl dont know how get more happyness from simple things. So they are angry and stupid. Well, what about me, thank you for video, and was glad to see u again. W8ing new videos (simple too :) )
I find it very difficult to make sure that the yoke doesn't break each time as soon as I crack open the shell. Could this be due to my keeping the eggs in a fridge? Please help a clumsy old man.
Am I the only one who noticed all the egg whites getting through the slide into the yolks??? The product is not worth it if it can't even do its intended purpose.
I think I could do it, you just need soft taps anyway so yes it would be possible... but the back side works just fine so no point using the sharp side.
Should have been called "Lots of stupid ways to separate eggs, and one right way." (using the hands/fingers) While you CAN crack an egg on the rim of a bowl, one should NEVER do so, nor should you use the spine of a knife. you, more often than not, put shards of the shell into the whites and those smaller pieces are never coming out of the egg. they are hard to see, but you will taste them once cooked (it's like a tiny grit of sand in an otherwise creamy egg). Just do it on the counter top or other flat surface. you'll still get good cracks in the shell, but the bits of shell will be nice and large and will generally not be a problem.
well all these egg tricks work, you should have seen the ones that didn't make it into the video because they didnt work and those were crazy ridiculous.
you know I know they say it is better on flat surfaces, but I have cracked quite a few eggs myself as well and I feel like an edge works out better. who knows maybe I have a bias to it for some reason but I feel like im being objective.
I prefer cracking on a flat surface, it creates a fissure down the center. Then just separate it. But on a edge, it creates an isolated hole, not helping with the prying open action
Ok... i mean I honestly like the way i cracked open that ostrich egg in half like a regular egg, 99% of tutorials will tell you to make a hole and most of the time break the ostrich egg yolk so i feel I showed something unique. I dare you to go and try cracking a ostrich egg like that
sometime you have to have fun in life, and trust me I enjoyed myself thoroughly with that ostrich egg. I've never smiled so much in my life, I was also nervous as hell that I would mess that up there's no videos of anyone ever cracking an ostrich egg open like a chicken egg, at least not that I could find

I don’t know why Americans are ok with playing with food 🥘 people here are using flour in all sorts of ways just stay full, and here you are in your whole entity making an art statement by going slow motion with “dropping an egg 🥚 in fascination. 👍🏻

I suggest go look at a few ostrich egg opening videos and then come back, no one cracks an ostrich egg like that at all most people drill a hole in it or use spikes and a hammer to get in. My point here is that ostrich egg is a huge trick, and just that would probably be novel enough of a trick for a video in my opinion
Many commenters say how this video is ridiculously unnecessary, as EVERYONE knows how to crack eggs and separate yolks from whites, but I beg to differ. I found some methods ridiculously creative and inspiring. Good job!
Ab-so-lutely!! I'm with you.
But idk how to lol😂
Absotively and posolutely right! I agree with you.

The Ostrich Egg CRACKED me up lol Some great methods.
Thanks for this! I'm trying to make meringues and this is the most intimidating part xD
I have been using the bottle method a lot but seeing the tbsp measuring one, wow.
I’m definitely using that, thanks!
I love this! So many options. Listen, some of us are very insecure! We need multiple methods until we're happy
I just used the tablespoon method, worked GREAT! Easy to do and quick. Thanks!
Yes its a fantastic egg separating method i use it all the time
brilliant!! Just pure brilliance, and simple. thank you so much. found new ways, easier ones too. love it💯
You're so welcome! it always makes me happy when my videos help someone :D
I love the tablespoon method. I tried it right away and it works like a charm perfectly. Thank you!
Million subscriber celebration anyone? You’re almost there congrats!
Awesome footage about an ordinary subject.
Thanks a lot Bro, also please share this video.
SIMPLY EFFECTIVE! as i am looking for...THANK YOU
wow ur almost at a million! good job on your success, u should be proud
Im very humbled that one million people liked my videos enough to subscribed!
And very excited to soon pass 1M subscribers 😁👍🍻
Using the shell is a rookie mistake and misinformation. The egg shell is a jagged and sharp edge that has a higher chance to break the yolk
Why is everyone talking about rubbing their darn fingers with a garlic clove? No one seems to test whether that method works without. Many of these seem superior anyway.
don t crack eggs on an edge if u want the yolk to stay intact! crack it on a flat surface instead
and if you don't wanna have bits of cracked shell into the mix
Thank you so much for this tip. Tried it and twas my first time not messing the egg yolk
Notice how the channel name is ‘How To Make Sushi’ but it teaches you how to separate eggs lol.
Thanks for an eggs citing video...
Haha 😂 your welcome Willy!
It was not that egg citing. But your comment did crack me up.
Thank you for saving me an unnecessary trip to Amazon. They already get enough of my money.😁
Spoon looks 👌
Spoon separating is the best IMO :)
So simple, so good :P
which of the egg separating tricks will you use?
Excellent tips thank you 😊
Excellent, love all the methods! I give this guy a very big thumbs up 👍👍👍
I personally use the empty bottle method 🥚🐣😊
Very intersting!! 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, Nicolas! 😄
I feel stupid for not just using a spoon. I always use the shells or my hands. Well.. no more punctured yolks or messy hands
Thank you. My mother approves your ideas.
Haha thank you I’m glad your mom approves 😂👍
you can do the 2 shot glass one using the two bits of shell
Yes but with the shell its easier to puncture them
And you sir can know how you do 😉😉Thank you for all your advice 🙏🙏🙂
I’m doing pretty well just getting back to making lots of cooking videos
That's good information.
Thanks for being so greatful @출출하네 peckish, if you could please share this video
Nice 😃
Thanks 😄for the positivity @Ishanvi Singh.
I love eggs!
I love eggs as well, very versatile ingredient
Great🙌🏻
Thanks for the positivity @Deev.
@@MakeSushi1 Anytime Bro!

What do you do with the yolks afterwards?
Egg whites and egg yolks have many many applications in cooking
at this point you can use any object you find around to separate the yolk.. would a screw driver work?
Please tell me where you got this, I REALLY NEED IT!
Can you make a video about quail egg yolk separation?
Where did you get that ostrich egg
1 more day to go for 1 million subscribers... 💃💃💃💃🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thank you so much.... I might have f*ck up earlier if I didn't see ur vid 🥺❤️
it's alight now you know many ways to separate egg yolks for egg whites :)
That one spoon falling on to the floor
can you show different methods of whisking eggs...?
Miss you
I miss me too 😌
The sound of the knife attempting to slice the ostrich egg open made me cringe ✨🥹😭🙂↕️
Hey Atheist, explain this. That ostrich egg is literally straight from a sci-fi movie. Truth is stranger than fiction.
I feel stupid for not thinking of some of these 😂
no eggs were harmed during the making of the video?
Haven’t seen a messier video than this 😂
I find it very difficult to make sure that the yoke doesn't break each time as soon as I crack open the shell. Could this be due to my keeping the eggs in a fridge?

That Ostrich Egg... (ノ゚0゚)ノ→total yum yum
why do i feel disgusted when it's an ostrich egg @@
the bowwawatte method sometimes breaks the yellow
Am I the only one who noticed all the egg whites getting through the slide into the yolks???
The product is not worth it if it can't even do its intended purpose.
What’s so hard is everytime I crack the egg I crack it wrong and shells go EVERYWHERE
Do ostrich eggs taste different...?
Apparently no. They just are larger versions of chicken eggs
I think the yolk is a little richer in flavor, but the whites are a little strange, I’m not a fan of the ostrich egg whites
If I'm really, really careful can I use the front bottom of a knife?
I think I could do it, you just need soft taps anyway so yes it would be possible... but the back side works just fine so no point using the sharp side.
We only use the egg shells xD lol
11th method: HowToBasic!
indeed it is :)
This was a fun video, but it leaves me wondering. What did you do with all the eggs? 🍳🍳🍳
Made many omelettes 😅
Wow! We have hands?! And there two of them?! Wow! Thank you for telling me that

nothing is perfect and theres something called "washing ur hands"
Most of those methods are ridiculous.
well all these egg tricks work, you should have seen the ones that didn't make it into the video because they didnt work and those were crazy ridiculous.
@@MakeSushi1 now you gotta make a separate video for that
Can you do running boiled egg? Thank I am having hard time to pull the shells even I cook in ice bath.

Well cannot separate eggs without the yolk collapsing. How do u stop this from happening?

How do you crack eggs without the whites leaking out and ending up on counter?
That’s my cue to unsubscribe
You did the same things three times bruhh.
Similar, probably not same.
I think the point i was trying yo make is you can pretty much scoop a yolk out with anything you have handy
So the two shot glass method dirties one more shotglass then the previous one AND you still handled the yolks with your hands
Well the pouring it in my hands was just to show the yolk had no whites, you would instead place the yolk where ever you need it or in a bowl
wtf
i stop watching the video when u used the ostrich egg
that was just for laughs, after that there a load of useful chicken egg separating tricks
