Loved this, what a brave strong woman to heal herself so deeply. Thank you both

I developed a sugar addiction around 5 years old. It developed into stealing from my mums purse to fuel it. It's a great challenge to overcome, and I had a psychotic break at 24, 6 years after drugs took the top spot. It took something as big as personality destruction to intervene in my pursuit to die through drug abuse.
One of the most insightful things I heard from a lady who battled alcoholism for 38 years, was, "I wasnt addicted to my drinking I was addicted to my thinking". She was waiting in line to be served at her local shop, and with her bottle of vodka in hand she felt relief that she had what she needed. Then she noticed her hand stopped shaking and had a bombshell insight. She put the bottle back and never drank again!!!
Michael, I can forward her contact details if further interviews on this topic are worth the investment on the subject. Much love to you and Vanessa xxx

Did she mean more of a ‘stream of consciousness’ way of writing? To get at those buffered feelings and thoughts. To open up and just be okay with whatever comes out. Reviewing it later to experience the value of it in the connections you can make? How you can essentially heal yourself by purging your mind of all of it and getting it out on a page. Validation of those hidden feelings is critical to understanding oneself. Coming to terms with or accepting confronting truths we suppress is made easier when we give ourselves permission to vent in a healthy way...Forgive yourself for any ways you may feel you’ve let yourself down. Forgiveness lessens our burdens and easies the need to file down the edges of our pain.

An old story....Back in 1972-74 I was stationed at Wiesbaden Hosp. I couldn't stand beer. has a nasty taste, but I was ok with a bit of wine like 1 or 2 small glasses when we went out to dinner which was most nights. So I was walking back to the hosp compound when I looked across the street and saw myself walking over there also. Really unnerving to put it mildly. At the time I was practicing astral projection and learning how to use my 3rd eye. In short my astral body had been disconnected and I didn't know how to get it back. So 1/2 hour later I was asleep and fine the next morning. BUT that was the last time I drank anything.

Hello Inspire Nation! I truly enjoy the content of your videos, the preparation/organizing that must be required to produce great interviews for the public!
In this video, I had to pause it. Because the screen is flashing around so much between images. I find there is another dimension added to a conversation when one can view the speakers because communication also takes place non-verbally as well right! I found it very distracting and difficult to focus. The same is with the adding of music in the background of a conversation between 2 people. I really appreciate the attempts to improve or change the product of Inspire Nation, but I find those 2 newer parts of the videography distracting from focusing my attention on the content the interviewer and interviewee are exchanging (which is always quite inspiring and significant!) I had thought previously about making a request re: videos that are now put to background music, if they could be posted as well with option to view (sans musica). I didn't mention because I truly enjoy this production so much. But I am afraid the visual rocking back n forth is too much visual redirecting when I'm trying to listen to the speakers!!! I hope this comment comes across with the loving kindness, honesty, and clarity that was intended! Much love to Michael, Jessica and the team at Inspire Nation- keep rocking it out there!!

Hi J.E.N. it comes across with love and kindness. We're still working on the best way to serve interviews...there's a youtube algorithm which doesn't allow people to find videos unless they hang in there for a long time...which means it's a search to find a balance between leaving the video alone, and trying to make it engaging so people don't click away. Sorry this one didn't work for you. But sending much love your way :D :D :D

I like watching your interviews but it’s a little frustrating when you interrupt the guest. At 8:45 you asked a question. She starts to share her story but you interrupt her at 9:23. No worries. You’re doing a great job. This is loving feedback, not negativity. I’ll still always show up to watch your interviews.
