Chef Carl is the real deal. Coach Prime is always singing his praises. Chef Carl is also competes in ultra marathons, so he truly understands the need to properly fuel these D1 athletes. I love that they include all the sports in the Champion Center and they get three meals a day.

When I ran track in college not having access to a proper balanced diet really affected me. Going from my parents cooking to unhealthy cafe food was challenging. This is so important to the athletes and I’m glad they have Coach Prime and Chef Carl
Chef Solomon has to be one of the top chefs in D1. I'd love to see a competition of the top 10 D1 college chefs prepare signature meals to decide Best Chef.

I can attest to CU going above & beyond for their athletes. We had steak & lobster for lunch on a regular Friday during her official visit. The football team was already at their hotel for game prep so it was for all of the rest of their athletes. Top notch!!!

Good lord where was this kind of food at when I was a division 1AA athlete? Yeah back in the day we ate pretty good at our cafeteria, but having this on the menu along with stuff like paella, lobster, chicken katsu, ohh man you can't beat the diversity of some of this food. Have a nice BBQ night with brisket, lobster Mac and cheese, potato salad, you just can't go wrong. Throw in some Mexican food street tacos and every kid around the country is gonna wanna sign and play there..
And they have a monthly stipend visa to buy food off campus also to help the local businesses.😊. That's why CU has 68,000 new applications for enrollment, over 60% is from out-of-State with about 52,000+ 😊getting offers, of that, black and Latino population accounted for over 55%, with an average GPA of 3.30-4.4.

Man, CU has 5 star food, meanwhile while I was on active duty back in the 2000s and early 2010s we were lucky when the chow hall had rice, white bread, and maybe some lettuce at San Maghettoooo 😂. Glad to see these kids are getting good food. They eat better than I do now and I’m in my 30s since food is so expensive now
