I was fortunate enough to dine here as a walk-in last year. I came 20 minutes before opening (already a long line) and waited another 20 minutes before getting seated. Everything is A+++: the food, concept, hospitality, vibes, interactions with the team. The dishes felt like a gift. I still think about the curried goat patties with green aioli now and again.
As a Nigerian I appreciate seeing our native egusi and iru presented in such an upscale manner. It takes a certain level of creativity to do that, this is brilliant! 💯
I’ve been to Tatiana’s twice. One of the times with my Supper Club, which allowed me to taste most of the menu. The food is amazing and 100% worth the hype! It’s awesome to see this look into the kitchen. Shoutout to the team!
True leadership is being able to delegate to other stars. She's a true ambassador. And her leadership is off the charts. Actively setting up her team for wins. She has great forethought. The owner intrigues me. He must be a genius. You can tell these folks care about the details.
chef Kwame was a force on Top Chef, and as a Top Chef fan i knew on day 1 he was gonna excel no matter what. watch him on Top Chef: California as a contestant and Top Chef: Portland as a judge! :)
I also think true leadership is leading by example by working alongside your team, in conjunction with delegating roles to the appropriate person by their skill level. She showed that in this piece.
The fact that morale was top 3 things says a lot. Later in the video she was passing by another cook and said "sorry chef" shows she respects her crew. That's it.

Swanky restaurant in a swanky location (Lincoln Center). I ate there and the food was excellent and the service friendly, efficient and not overbearing. The restaurant 's decor is stunningly modern without going overboard.
I love the details! Thanks to the owner for trusting this chef to manage their kitchen this team is literally the best. Their kitchen is so clean and organized and the way they prep the food is amazing! No wonder people want to come back and wait for months just to dine in on this restaurant

Halfway through this I was inspired to go cook some food for myself. So I’m sitting down the watch the rest with a fried egg sandwich. The height of cuisine indeed.
The two times I saw chef Kwame on Top Chef, Tom and Gail,in particular, just did NOT understand his food. I'm glad it is being recognized on the stage it is.
Growing up learning about cooking and different systems in restaurants when it comes to the kitchen, and to see such a diverse team in the kitchen is so refreshing to see and I think just looking at how they handled the food they put so much passion into their job, I love that for them. Great video.

That's crazy!!!! Five Star production. When so many restaurants now just heat-up food that's made off site, it's refreshing to see an establishment that takes so much pride in their cuisine.
I came to NYC for a conference and tried to set a reservation for one. They said since it was just me to just come in. When I came the hostess acted so snobby. They told me I could stand and eat. In Louboutins, that’s a no. In Southern, that’s an heck no. I sat at the bar. Outside of the hostess, everyone else was friendly and the food was delicious. Need to plan another trip to NYC to go back soon.
