You bet man. And I had to delete a video you commented on BTW. Noticed a mistake and the only way to fix on TH-cam is toast and reload.

Smallrig BMPCC 6K Pro cage fits the body perfectly except the top screw doesn't screw in fully. Otherwise, it fits snuggly.

Trying to update firmware but
bmpcc 6k pro doesn't get recognized by BM camera setup. Tried everything....
When I plug the camera up the actual file pop up but nothing happens in the Camera SetUp

If your camera is plugged into USB-C and powered on the application should see it when opened. The camera will not automatically show up in Finder or anything like that. You have to open the camera app. AND...this is a bit confusing, but the camera app will not auto-detect new versions from BMD. You have to go to their site and download/install the latest: www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/professional-cameras

Hello. I am running 7.3 and have updated to 8.3 (or trying to update). Should it take a very long time to update from that much of a jump? i started the update about a half hour ago now but i am only on 2%. No sure if i should wait it out. I never got an AC cord so i was using vmount battery. Hoping it will finish before that battery dies. If nothing else, i can hot swap but stil unsure of this long update.

Shouldn’t take that long. It’s just a fast firmware write. Did you get it sorted out?

Hey, I got it updated last night. I ended up turning the camera off from the switch and disconnecting from the usbc. I was able to turn it back on with no problem. I usually can just plug things directly into the USB port in my keyboard for small updates and transfers, but I swapped out connection and plugged directly into usb c port in computer and redid the same steps. Ended up getting downloaded in about 3-4 minutes! Thanks for the follow up. I was nervous to unplug it because that's normally never a good recipe along with all the experiences i heard but I guess there was not really a good connection to begin with so it didnt effect the camera. Liking the new layout of the update and excited to test out the improvements.
