With some of my ladies, especially those with darker skin, I always make sure I spritz the face well before applying the hyaluronic acid, it really helps

Thank you for your information Tricia, I do my makeup in that order, and it doesn't actually take too long, well worth the effort to look good for the whole day even if it is to stay home.

Thanks for that video - I have been doing those steps for a while now and it has made a difference. The only thing I haven't used is the serum, but I think I will from now on. Also wasn't leaving enough time between moisturising and then using the primer/foundation. Before I was confused and after using the skin primer thought I had to use the eye prime and lip prime before foundation/concealer etc. what you have said makes it easier. The night cream is fantastic, I wake and my skin feels really really great. You talk about some people thinking it is a faff - a year back when I started using your skin care products (I'd been using your make-up for year or so) the whole process did seem a faff, but after a few days it all got more routine and quicker and it has paid off. Not only that, it provides a psychological boost to the start of my day - I feel ready for what ever happens! My family and friends who see me on Zoom think I look miles better - you are obviously a master when it comes to being filmed, but I am not. However a week or two ago I watched an American woman give a tutorial on how to look good when Zooming, I learned so much it has really helped. My main asset is either Cherry Red or Monroe Red!!

Hi Tricia, I am really enjoying your daily videos, I am working from home at the moment so look forward to watching them when I finish for the day. I have been looking for a daily moisturiser with a high SPF, I was wondering what level your day cream is? I can’t seem to find out from the website. I have purchased some of your makeup items and am very pleased with them.

Beautifully put with a beautiful result.! You always look terrific and you really DO have fab skin to start with!
My routine is exactly the same except for the skin care products. I shall try yours, when your face moisturiser is back in stock. Someone has again mentioned SPF, my thoughts are that this would be applied first, if it isn’t in moisturiser. Let it dry then put serum, followed by moisturiser etc. Do you agree?
Also someone has mentioned retinol products. I personally have tried a couple with my night routine, but don’t use as I am a bit wary of them again, what do you think of them? Thank you for today!

Our day cream does contains SPF. We also have retinol in a special suspended form in our skincare so that it doesn't cause sun sensitivity. It took us over 2 years to develop our skincare and I was very particular about key ingredients and performance. I have been delighted with how good my skin now looks after two years continuous use of the 3 products, as it is prone to acne rosacea and has been a major challenge for me over many long years.

Thank you Tricia for answering my question about what order you put your make up on. The hyalauronic acid in your serum must be part of the reason my skin has changed since applying it. Do you have any comment to make on the use of retinol?? Once again thanks for taking the time and trouble to explain everything so clearly.

So happy to hear that Evelyn. We do have retinol in a special suspended form in our skincare so that it doesn't cause sun sensitivity. It took us over 2 years to develop the range and I was very particular about key ingredients and performance. Tx.

When do you use primer before concealer or after?

    • @LookFabForever

Before the foundation and concealer. Tx

Don't you use SPF? For me, it is the last step of skincare - and I let it sit for 10-15 mins, and then follow with primer etc. etc. I always do my eyes before blush, as this indicates to me how much color I need on my cheeks (just a personal thing). Your skincare routine is nice and simple - obviously works well! I also use some peptides and ceramides, as well as an eye cream. I know an eye cream is not deemed essential to many, but it is for me! I also put on a lip balm to soften my lips while I'm doing my face, then remove it with a warm cloth before I put on my lipstick.

Thank you for this. However you haven’t mentioned where SPF comes in (I’m thinking after moisturizer and before primer). Also I don’t believe any of your products have SPF in them. I do need to use SPF daily as I have had skin cancer several times on my face and chest area due to too much sun as a young person when we didn’t know better. 😏

I'm with you on this Christine - I also need SPF as I have several 'sun spots/age spots' on my face from when I was younger and basically we didn't really know an better back then. I therefore use a moisturiser with SPF in it, and am rather disappointed that LFF doesn't have it. Tricia, perhaps you could tell us if there's a good reason for this?

    • @LookFabForever
      @LookFabForever  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@stevemead1454 and Christine Williams - our day cream does have an SPF in it and so it does give sun protection. Unfortunately this means that we cannot sell it in the USA as the FDA requires that the cream be made in a US approved factory so we haven't been able to satisfy those requirements. Tx

I happen to use moisturizers that have SPF’s of either 30 or 50. However, if you don’t have one with protection, you should follow up with some sort of sun protection after you’ve applied your moisturizer. My normal routine is cleansing, toning, exfoliating, serum, & moisturizer with protection. I live in the US and am avid fan of LFF.

I ordered primer, foundation, concealer and lipstick from you. They arrived promptly and this morning I tried them out. I used my own moisturiser let it settle in to my skin then used the primer, my skin felt like silk after. I put 3 squirts of foundation on the back of my hand which was to much, tomorrow I will start of with one squirt as I wasted a lot. The foundation went on very smoothly and is a lovely colour. I didn't do so well with the concealer, I have some age spots and a couple of them have rough skin on them and I found the concealer looked flaky on them, I don't know if you have a suggestion to solve that ? I used my own blusher, and lastly the lipstick I ordered, it is the Fushia colour and I loved it. Sent photos to my daughter and they both said ' love the look and the lipstick looks lovely'. Thank you for the lovely products and the tutorials, will definitely be buying some more 😁.
