In this video Tricia is joined by Julie to give their top tips for how to ensure that your lips look their best as you age. Great video, I could not agree more, lipstick really does light up the face, for me it compliments all the other products on my face. My lipstick is the finishing touch. I do not go anywhere without it.
Great Information!! Thank you so much for having information about both cool and warm lip color. I love your warm colors. I really enjoyed having Julie on the video. One small suggestion should you have another guest. Julie's lighting could have been a little brighter. She was shaded on one side and the lighting did not allow us (or I should say, me) to clearly see her coloring or the colors of the warm tops she showed us. Again, thanks always for a great Ritz video. I have seen ALL of them and learned so much.
I’m going to make a confession to say I only have worn lipstick when dressed up for special occasions - you know like bringing out the good china for company. Since watching tea at the ritz and being inspired to wear makeup every day, the lipstick is going on too for grocery shopping and other outings. My husband has picked up on this and rather likes seeing me more often with eyeshadow and lipstick. Our meet ups with Tricia and learning more about makeup application for mature women is a good confidence booster.

I could not agree more about the power of a vibrant colour lipstick on a mature face.
PS I fairly neutral. Could you identify the mid range bright colours suitable for neutral skin tones like you do for eyeshadows. I have tons of lipsticks which are either a little bit too blue and a little bit too orange. Always looking for the perfect one.

Another way to tell whether you are Cool or Warm toned is to see which of silver or gold jewellery suits you better. Silver = cool toned. Gold = warm toned.

Have very berry, fuschia, getting soft plum. Since we have pale skin and dark hair pale lipsticks make us look washed out and too dark make us look too pale. So it’s tough to find that in between that will work.

Cool and warm tones have always confused me. I think I'm neutral as I love the vibrant pinks that Tricia wears, but also the greens that Julie showed. I prefer to wear the cool lipsticks even though the warm look really good until I smile. They tend to make my teeth look yellow.

A really bright yellow looks good on me. people say it suits me. Am I warm or cool.
What would you put the 💄 color Fuchsia in The Mid Tone category or Dark?
My favorite colors are magenta and a dark red clothes…. but I’ve been getting warm colors such as rosewood, my favorite, russet and soft coral. I have colors that look best on me from a group I’ve been in, but it doesn’t always fit with your cool and warm

I always put a little gloss in the center of my lips - creates an illusion of larger lips! I am also of the opinion that a little shimmer or shine is perfectly fine for an older face or eyes. I ordered some LFF products last night - to add to my already extensive collection of makeup! I chose the Tulip Pink, as the shades of lipstick that I usually wear are similar to your Soft Plum, and Very Berry. Looking forward to receiving them. I ordered lipstick, eye primer, beauty balm, grey brow, and face primer.

I’ve always chosen lip color to make my teeth look whiter. Blue based colors do not for me. But if you looked at me you’d think I was a cool.
Only complaint...lighting for your friend especially not very good. Hard to appreciate the colors very successfully.
