my last ipad is mini 2nd gen. now that 10th is out, i'm so grateful ! wanting to buy Air but it's too expensive! even with Education Apple Store price, the difference between 10th and Air is USD$150 ! I'm a teacher and my work basically involve PDF, Words/Pages, Powerpoint/Keynote, and Excel/Numbers. I don't play games, not using for music production, video editing, etc. I have MacBook Air M1 already for those tasks.
Laminated screen was the dealbreaker in our case. Having used laminated screen iPads since iPad Air 2, there is just no going back.
I would prefer using the USB-C Logitech Crayon instead of the first generation Apple Pencil on the iPad 10.
One thing about the Pen, most who buy this will already have the 1st gen pen and adaptor. It also charges fast and lasts forever so i've never had to charge it mid work. I always have my ipad in a case so i don't know if that would work with the air and 2nd gen pencil. I think actually think if the 10 goes down to 400 it's a great buy as a supplemental macbook. If someones trying to have a laptop replacement though, ipad air 5th gen all day

Marvellous video , As an Indian I feel disappointed that many tech youtubers out there just describe the specs assuming everyone is a tech guy while you , along with explaining the specs , also ellaborated further stating which ipad will be suitable for what ❤

iPad air 5 start at 640+ dollar in my country and the 10th generation is 460. I'm not a heavy user, just a hs student who wants to sketch and do some notes. About the pen, I could buy third party one

Where I live it’s about $100 different in price, I rather have better speakers, better screen, better performance. I’m gonna use this thing for a loooong time so better get the best

I need the landscape camera on the 10, but I need the power and better color accuracy on the Air, so I bought the Air first, financially recovered and bought the 10. No regrets.

I'm looking for an iPad that will accompany me throughout my 7-8 year medical school journey. But I can't decide between the iPad generations 9, 10, Air 4, and Air 5. I'm concerned that if I go with older generations, they won't last long or will cause issues. 😕
I intend to use my iPad primarily for taking notes, reading PDFs, and watching lectures. I don't know much about technology, so if anyone could assist me, I would be grateful... 😇
Tough to know which one would last that long. If I had to guess maybe the air 5 because better performance so it might be able to handle the updates better.
If you want it to last long, you should always go for the best one. In your options, probably Air 5 is your best choice. After years, you would find it totally worth the extra money you paid.

personal preference really, i like the ipad air with 2nd gen pencil better, easier to charge, use, but i like the price of the ipad 10. You could also look for an ipad air 4 which would be for about the same price.

How do you get that many apps at the bottom of your iPad on the big bar? I want mine like that on my iPad Air 5 but it only shows 3 apps then | another 3 apps then it shows a box with four apps that if you click it shows all your apps
How much better is the screen on the air 5? Is it significant enough to be noticable?
probably not that noticeable to most people to pay extra for the screen in my opinion

I'm choosing between Ipad 10th gen 256GB or Ipad air 5th gen 64GB I will use my ipad for school purposes such as note taking, e-books and ofc to watch movies and netflix and at least 1 or 2 games, any recommendations?
Both are good for those, sort of tough to tell if 64gb would be enough

Horrible decision. Not worth it because of the fact that lightning port is going away in the EU and ipad 10 won't sell at all here because of the apple pencil mess up.

I’m currently using an iPad Air 2 16GB storage. I’m looking for a new iPad but don’t know which one to invest in. I don’t play video games, or do any type of video editing. I mainly use it to surf the net and use various apps like my JW App (Jehovah’s Witness App), Amazon app, eBay app, etc. should I get the iPad Air 5th generation since I am use to the iPad Air 2nd generation? I also am looking for a rather light iPad to carry around.
