- lets just cut the crap. physics solve this problems.
just put the phone on your freezer.
moisture moving from hot place to the colder place.
i've seen lots of Videos of explaining how to solve this problem.
bypassing the error etc etc etc.
some of them just have the cut videos after some hours.
this works for all phone samsung, iphone, nokia, xiaomi, etc etc etc
in this Video just lets Physics do its magic.

and this method wont work if you have any air hole on the seal. make sure its 100% sealed on the usb hole

Worked for me as well!! I thought it was more hocus pocus nonsense like all the others!! Battery was completely flat. So I charged it about 10 times until the warning came on each time, did the magic and popped it in the freezer for 6 minutes. Took it out and plugged it in and hey presto! I love you Nosy Neighbour!!

This error can be caused by a fault. The moisture warning can come up over and over but you don't have any moisture in there. Seems like the fault is with the actual USB port and/or communication with the o/s

So, how did you fix it?
Think this is manufacturing bug so you are forced to take your phone in, I got a slow charger plugged it in and then it worked again
We were in the Ocean and had no wireless charger with us, 2 phones were dead for a couple of the days. We tried all suggestions with rebooting, wiping, cleaning, erasing cache. None of those worked. But this made a trick, both phones back to life after 5 minutes in the freezer. Thank you soooooo much!!!

This is just crazy. exactly after 5 mins it disappears on my samsung s10 5G. I touched with a wave while taking pictures on the sea, I have tried everything reboot, usdsettings cache clear nothing . you are fking genius!
I had this issue for a couple of hours and tried different things. Nothing worked until I stumbled upon on this video. This worked on my Samsung A33. Awesome 👌

Not sure if this is what did it, but I tried this then shut down the phone and started it up. Works now!
It didn't work for me. Using a dehumidifier instead. I'll let you know if it works. If not hopefully clearing my Casha in safety mode works.

i am using uncooked rice to try and dry the phone it's been like 1 and a half hours after i tried it out it still detects moisture. Should i really do it like this video or should i keep it in the uncooked rice? im juast afraid this hack could damage my phone because it has some pretty suspicious steps like putting your phone on the freezer... I dont know what to do
you can try the freezer method. if it sealed properly, your phone should be fine

It also works when you switch of and before switching on when the samsung sign appears put it in the charger before the lock screen appears. Theres no way that it wont charge, even if the actual problem might not be solved

The method that worked for me everytime was to clear the usb cache, restart with the cable half in and then quickly press it all the way in as soon as the phone starts up.

I'm getting same message alien detected. Then, my phone starts working automatically, but the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. After about 4 hours, a green line appeared on the screen. Now, my phone is completely off

Updates: it came back... Was OK at last night, abt 11pm. Now abt 1pm the next day, the sign appear again n couldn't charge 😢
it came back, might be cause by your charging cable.. because you tried to charge your phone with that cable.. so that tiny water molecule is on your charging cable.. you need to change the cable

Try replacing the charger connector cable. A ~$6 cable fixed this issue on my S10+
yeah, this will works as well.. but the catch is, you need to open the phone by yourself.. and the tools cost mosre than that..hahaha.. or you can go to repair shop.. it sure cost more..

ah, i thought you mean the usb port itself.. changing cable might work if the water particle is on the cable.. but most of the time it is on the usb port.
@@melodeliveryI tried changing the usb daughter board of my note 10 once, even after changing to the new one it still got the moisture notification. So I don't really think it's really a water or dust that do cause this, it's probably an error from Samsung maybe

The UK is cold and I just had this issue for the 1st time on a rainy day yesterday. In the evening it showed the moisture detected like around 8pm then the issue was gone and then around 24 hours later it came back and then it's gone again. I'm using my LG G6 and it's very weird. I thought i solved the issue by switching my phone off and then I charged my phone, that's how I solved it. If the issue comes back for the 3rd time tomorrow I will use this fridge method.
That's how mine started..it was RAINING and then boom this message came on

@@melodelivery I solved the issue by turning off the Moisture Detect Setting on my LG G6 however I got a new problem. It shows a Right arrow in the battery icon and I solved it by using another USB C cable. My LG G6 phone is weird. This crap 1st started 2 days ago on Saturday when I didn't have my phone case with me in public and it was raining. I hope I don't get any problems anytime soon and yes I do need a new phone because I bought the LG G6 in late 2017.

@yournosyneighbour so it did work now symbol is back, it cleared for a about 5 mins then returned. Is it worth trying again don't want to damage phone with freezer etc ?
did you put your same charger cable after that? the symbol is back proobably because of you charger cable got moisture on it.. dont use the cable anymore.. it wont damage the phone.. since the low temperature is fine.. not the heat

it happens maybe because you're using the same charger cable.. your cable is most likely is wet . you need to stop using the same cable when its fixed
