This was a perfect representation of creativity. Thank you, I have almost 1800 hours in this game, and I have used these for resources, but this truly unique.
So youre video was randomly on my recommend page and I'm glad it was! I dont have a creative mind, so seeing your videos have given me lots of cool ideas to try building my first outpost. And your voice is really nice to listen to!
Glad I could help! It can be tough knowing where to start, but once you get going it starts to flow much easier. I hope you've been having some fun building outposts of your own!
Your videos are a real treat and the only ones I can watch. Your design style is simply delightful and the filming is beautiful. Your creativity is beyond great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you that actually means a lot. I really struggle with being able to watch a lot of videos too, especially if there's a lot of camera movement involved. I've been working hard when filming to try make the videos as easy as possible to watch for folks who might share that struggle, so its nice to hear it's been paying off
I had no idea that the animal husbandry skill unlocked those awesome buildings. Im going to have to give it a go and unlock those now. Thanks for sharing!
@@MissOPlays i kinda don't mind that, keeps the game feeling fresh. I found the greenhouses pretty early on because I wanted to become a space botanist. I did level 1 of animal husbandry but I just assumed we'd get animal cages like the radiant ones you can find! Glad to have seen your vid this morning. Thanks again for sharing! I'll 100% be using those barns NOT for animals 🤣😅
I honestly love this game, the hate is just beyond my comprehension after 2 characters at lvl 150, and what must surely be in excess of 1000hrs played… I can only assume that because gaming to me is something I do to destress from what is a very high-pressure, high responsibility job, and therefore am not looking for Elden Ring level intensity every time I log in, it’s all coming from dedicated, high-intensity gamers who switch right on when they log in. On that basis, Starfield is simply a more modern version if Fallout or Skyrim, non-linear, do what you want and take as long as you like, relaxing gaming, perfect escapism.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the game, but the statement “the hate is just beyond my comprehension” seems absolutely ludicrous. There is no shortage of videos outlining very valid criticisms of the game’s structure, story, systems, etc. I play because I do enjoy some aspects, but what I do enjoy still seems half-baked or a significant step backwards from previous titles. I could write pages about all the issues I have with the game design, but I’ll leave it at that. It is possible to enjoy a game without completely ignoring its glaring flaws, just as it’s possible to not enjoy a game without denigrating people who do enjoy it.
@@Chris-wu2hc to be fair, it’s not beyond my comprehension, it’s just in the same category as, for example, loving a Donald Trump… Vitriol for its own sake with a massive scoop of herd mentality. If you expected more from a Bethesda title I can only assume you’re not a person who’s played a lot of Bethesda games, and I can only assume that you have limited understanding of commercial, financialised, end stage capitalism and its impact on ALL products, but especially those that fit into the category of art.
@@mattsharpey361 Lol okay sure bud. 👌 Being critical of systems that are a step backward from previous Bethesda titles are because…I didn’t play those titles? And criticisms in general of the game are akin to being a Donald Trump supporter and indicative of a lack of understanding of the impact of capitalism on the products of creative industries? Wow, you’re a genius. 🤦
Hi! Really enjoying these videos! I’ve been spending hours decorating and playing around with this feature of the game after binging your uploads! Cheers 👍🏼
Nice! I'd stopped trying to decorate in the animal habs much due to the lack of stairs and having to jetpack up onto the foundations - the use of the wall shelf is a nice trick, but hopefully they will add some stairs and platforms in a DLC. I've also backed off a bit on decorating outposts in general due to some cases of disappearing stuff (mannequins, a few junk decorations). Hopefully some of those bugs get fixed eventually as well. Sinking I can tolerate with junk decoration as there are workarounds to prevent, but stuff that just goes "bloop" you can't do anything about.
I hope they release more "decorations" in upcoming updates. Everything I do outside the menu the items just end up sinking into things. Unless I put everything on the floor. Occasional certain items don't sink into things. It's hit or miss at this point.
I'd be surprised if we didn't see more decoration items added to the build menu in the future. In the meantime I have a video about decorating with junk objects and cover ways to avoid placed items sinking once you've got them set up the way you want which might help with your current (and relatable) struggle th-cam.com/video/nvmoUKLbz6A/w-d-xo.html
I added a few tips for this at the 08:27 time stamp, it covers how to get unobtrusive creatures you can farm while still using the building as a useable space for yourself, and how to remove them all together. For the building tours at the beginning of the video I used the "unobtrusive creature" method which is my personal favorite reliable solution
I didn't even know these buildings existed and it's pretty much something I wanted to be in the game lol. I mean, I would prefer to have wood buildings and whatnot for breathable planets and be able to completely make the building how I want, but this is fine for now. Makes me pumped to get back on, assuming the quest but I ran into has been fixed(hopefully).
looks like the next update has a lot of quest bug fixes, so fingers crossed the one you got hit with is one of them. The animal husbandry buildings are easy to miss since they require skill point investments outside of outpost engineering. I'm hoping we see some build kit options with floors, walls, rooves, etc in the future because it would be nice to have more options on breathable atmosphere planets.
@@MissOPlays It's Andreja's marriage quest. She just wouldn't give me the quest to go the spot she want to do it at. It's on my second run. Went fine the first time and didn't work on the next. It's what made me stop playing because it was the last thing i had to do, and then I wanted to actually explore and focus on finding a nice planet/moon to build a permanent base on. Pretty frustrating, but I'm sure it'll be fixed if it hasn't already. I just haven't been able to bring myself back onto the game. Figured I'd just wait until some major updates get added. I think a big update focused on outposts in general would be great.
Hi, Great videos and channel. I recently viewed your rug clipping video and was wondering have you tried rug clipping with the bottom floor of these buildings? If you did ,did it workout corner to corner or just as large as you could get it to fit normally? Thanks.
If you're not watching @missoplays you're missing out! So creative with your builds and so well presented. Thank you!

This video has been soo helpful! Definitely prefer this version of a player home instead of the sterile looking habs. Thank you for the inspiration!
it's possible to make the other habs a little cozier, but the animal husbandry buildings have a much more "homey" feel for sure

yeah they really kept these buildings hidden since there not shown on the research projects terminal the same way the greenhouses are

How do you build the animal buildings without animals walking everywhere?
Great decorating btw
I guess you don’t feed them resources?

If you don’t set up the supply lines (water/nutrients, etc) for the animal husbandry building, do the fauna still spawna?
That was my original hope, but unfortunately they still spawn even without supply lines connected

Yes! and it does work for clipping into corners, especially the square hydroponics and science habs

I did’nt know we could build in Green houses! So you just farm nothing and it empty it?
