Ruin in what way? Do you mean placement? In America there are regulations that the lights cannot be on moving pieces of the body (like the rear door). Some may have lights on the door but must also have them fixed on the body. I think it is different in Europe. Many European car makers will modify this to sell in America.
I like that they took styling cues from their pickup line. I wish the Expedition looked like a truck instead of an Explorer. AT4 seems like a great (soft-ish) off towing package.
They specifically designed these vehicles for "off-road" use. But these people that do buy this AT4 package will NEVER use it off road at all. So whats the point of buying an off road oriented vehicle if you aren't going to use it as such?
Yup Whenever I talk to a Ram salesman about Ram air suspension they deflect....then say they don't recommend it,or order trucks in with it. Everyone I know here in Alberta who had it....had multiple issues with it.
There's no way I'd choose this over the 4runner Off Road. This is too big for off roading and there is no way this thing is lasting beyond 5 years/100k.

It looks good, but somethign I realize the more I look at it is that forward visibility is gonna be really bad. Look at the size of the windscreen related to the ultra high front hood.
I have owned several Tahoes and Yukons throughout the years and the thing I like least, is when they started using facia's rather than bumpers. These controlled tests still don't prove that the facia's won't get ripped off in the real world (when it drags on a parking stop). And why do they still look like minivans with big tires? The 2014 Z-71 seemed to be the last sporty looking one. And, I hope one can still get a second row bench seat, otherwise cargo is rather limited for actual items vs unusable cubic feet (and limited passenger space). Ruin in what way? Do you mean placement? In America there are regulations that the lights cannot be on moving pieces of the body (like the rear door). Some may have lights on the door but must also have them fixed on the body. I think it is different in Europe. Many European car makers will modify this to sell in America.
Looks good! Both AT4 and Denali
Looks very nice. GM did a great job on these and the new Tahoe/Suburban.
I like that they took styling cues from their pickup line. I wish the Expedition looked like a truck instead of an Explorer. AT4 seems like a great (soft-ish) off towing package.
That AT4 will become the new overlander
Now even more people will buy these SUVs that won’t ever see dirt....
Sadly, no surprise.
I don’t see how this is a bad thing though.
They specifically designed these vehicles for "off-road" use. But these people that do buy this AT4 package will NEVER use it off road at all. So whats the point of buying an off road oriented vehicle if you aren't going to use it as such?
Cpt. Recneps your money, your business how you spend it. Simple isn’t it?
@@richardnavas2207 I guess so.
This interior is very nice. I hope this means GM is coming back.
I’m soooo excited about the Escalade
we want Duramax Yukon AT4!.
we want Duramax Yukon AT4!!.
we want Rutamax Yukon AT4!!!.
Grandslam home run for GMC on the Yukon Denali 👍👍😁
Roman I hope you get the AT4 and get a chance to take it off road. Nice looking GMC Yukon , Thanks for the video.
Yeah, this is America, huge country, big monster cars,,, for me I've Ford expedition 2013 and I love it.
This looks like a smart SUV.
Is it a foregone conclusion to say that the Denali package with the 3.0 Duramax will easily approach or breach the $100k threshold?
I love the new yukon xl 😍
Wonder if gm’s air system will hold up better then dodges epic fail in Alberta climate for air suspension
Yup
Whenever I talk to a Ram salesman about Ram air suspension they deflect....then say they don't recommend it,or order trucks in with it.
Everyone I know here in Alberta who had it....had multiple issues with it.
Ditto for Manitoba my friend runs a Ram dealer and they only special order them on request and don’t recommend them
Funny thing is the video sells it as good for offroad... not here, they should test these things in the canada climate on lease/logging roads
Wow. Didn't know that. I'm a little late😂
Doubt it. Half the rear air ride suspensions in GMT900 LTZ/Denali's died within 100k.
There's no way I'd choose this over the 4runner Off Road. This is too big for off roading and there is no way this thing is lasting beyond 5 years/100k.
Hahahahahahahaha. I don't think this is meant for any serious off roading. And it will definitely last longer than 100k miles. Stop eating that shit Toyota is feeding you.
apples and oranges
There all the same but if you want to rollover on a hill while the Yukon/suburban climb up no problem with the long wheelbase have fun
@@ColeSpolaric - oh the carcase will last beyond 100k, but all the little bits and pieces will either not be working, fall off, squeak or rattle. Air suspension will be problematic starting at 80k. All typical GM.
@@donleamon8653 that's all air suspensions and you don't have to get one. As far as squeaks and rattles, Toyotas come with those from the factory. If you do the regular maintenance on it, it will last you a quarter million miles. I think a lot of GM owners just don't give a shit and that's why they don't last.
I don't know what I'm getting, but I'm coming up on 14 years with my Sierra, and I have a hankering for an AT4 something. Yukon, 2500HD, YukonXL something is looking good :)
You know what they need, is to bring back the 2500 Suburban and Yukon XL. New 6.6 gas and a low range transfer case with 8 lug wheels, HD axles, and 3000 pounds of payload. A 2500 Pickup just doesn't have the seats for the people, and a 1500 Burb or XL doesn't have the payload to both move people and tow a heavy trailer at the same time.
@TheFastLaneTruck I own a 1994 Yukon with a front and rear locker, a low range transfer case, 33" KO2 tires. Its always good to see an upgrade/improvement.
make a great wagon for back and forth to town, I just don't think I'd throw and Elk carcass in the back. But a Desoto transmission shift? Parking downtown in a ski town it might as well be a long bed dually. eh?
Kudos GMC that looks awesome. Way nicer than the Tahoe. In my mind the Thoe used to be the tougher masculine truck and the gmc the classier so its interesting that that's reversed with these evolutions of the truck
Nice family haulers. Chevys are basically the same and cheaper price. I’d go for a Tahoe z71 in a few years
Much different interiors and especially the exterior. Chevy is now the low quality one compared to GMC.
Ryan B only if you get the Denali trim, all other Yukon’s have the same interior as the as the Tahoe.
I smell a Expedition Raptor edition coming... hell yea!
That AT4 with a diesel, yes please!
anyone else see that truck at the right of your screen? 2:50
Because we all know that 2 extra inches makes all the difference in the world. For ground clearance anyway. 😜
It has weed and strap compartment im sold!
😂😂
EXACTLY! LMAO
These guys are the best.... Hey, do you ever eat at Cheba Hut? Saw the Comfort Suites in previous videos, totally recognize the runup to Eisenhower tunnel. Overall great channel.
I will take this over 2021 Tahoe high country!
Can't wait to see what the next generation escalade looks like
the tread sierra casually zooming by in the background
It looks good, but somethign I realize the more I look at it is that forward visibility is gonna be really bad. Look at the size of the windscreen related to the ultra high front hood.
Heh, that guy you can tell really is actually happy about the new Yukon
This will look great in parking lots
I have owned several Tahoes and Yukons throughout the years and the thing I like least, is when they started using facia's rather than bumpers. These controlled tests still don't prove that the facia's won't get ripped off in the real world (when it drags on a parking stop).
And why do they still look like minivans with big tires? The 2014 Z-71 seemed to be the last sporty looking one.
And, I hope one can still get a second row bench seat, otherwise cargo is rather limited for actual items vs unusable cubic feet (and limited passenger space).
As they say "better, not good, but better". Still deciding what I will get next.
Cheers, Tony Z
finally a new GM vehicle that actually looks good too bad its gonna be crazy expensive
100k
If Darth Vader drive SUV it would be this car... Looks mean! 👍👍
Evo1122 u said SUV, now u said this car. Lol
Wow GMC trucks this type of interior 👍
My 96 Yukon goes off road daily. It does pretty damn good too.
Can't wait for GM to do this with the new escalade
One think. And it's very important the vision in the front not wide not enough to see the roads or the end of car's body.
I guess I’m missing what differentiates the Yukon AT4 interior from the Tahoe Z71...looks identical
