Why is the lack of LED brake lights and rear turn signals a deal breaker when you're buying a mainstream full-size non-luxury BOF SUV? Many other new SUVs/CUVs and lower trim pickups use incandescent turn signals, yet those don't get bashed for the lack of LED turn signals just to look more "Modern"..? If you want rear LED turn signals, you're looking at a luxury branded vehicle, not a mainstream utility vehicle like the new Suburban and Tahoe.

Also, I noticed the rear seat screens are hanging from the backseat like an ornament unlike the Expeditions that are intergrated into the seat. Lastly, I heard a lot of fuss about not buying an Expedition because of the turbo V6. Yet, the new trucks have air suspension, which cannot be bulletproof and is guaranteed to give problems before 100k miles.

Dont know why they didn't mention it in this video but yeah there is going to be a duramax version for the tahoe and suburban. Its going to be a Duramax 3.0L inline 6 with its beautiful turbo installed. 277HP making I believe around 500 at the wheel. Unfortunately it's a late availability so it would take a little while to come out but it will be soon. Oh one last thing the Z71 version won't be having the duramax option for it but the others will.

I've had six Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukon Denali XLs over the past twelve years or so and I can't go without that extra space behind the third row. The Suburban's/Denali XL's extra length is a little bit more unwieldy in tight(er) parking spots but not enough to dismiss the idea of having one. When I take the Denali XL surf fishing with family on the New Jersey shore the extra room for gear is invaluable. Even at that I have a Thule cargo box up top to reduce clutter inside the vehicle.

Guess they got tired of hearing how awful it was in the rear quarters, despite still being #1 for years. My only wish was that GM gave the 6.2 more POWA to really make the extra $2500 worth it(it is worth it, but it would be easier to swallow). Maybe 3.5 EB H.O. level power. Other than that, it looks like GM has come to play and secure their dominance in this class.

PLEASE test the difference rear axle ratio has on fuel economy. Do an unladen and towing MPG loop to see what kind of reduction in fuel economy a higher ratio has on two similar trucks. The EPA does not rate trucks with different axle ratios separately and it’s common knowledge that the higher the ratio number the worst fuel economy you’ll get but nobody can see exactly how much worse. I want to know when I buy next truck if it’s a significant difference.
