Heck people also say tower of god reminds them of one piece (even tho i can’t see that at all). Anyway this manga reminds me more of fairy tail and the girl reminds me of Lucy in a way.

Drifting Dragons is the manga that you all want to read. It is a mix of Fullmetal Alchemist & One piece in the sense that it is a fully realized world with deep & enriching characters & a crew environment.
The likelihood of it getting cancelled is pretty low actually. It's serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, not Shonen Jump. They do things differently over there and don't swing their axe around as much.

Nah that's the type of series that peaks at chapter 1 This villain is too pretty, the powerscaling is off the charts, and there are dragons everywhere, this will run out of steam fast
if yall want a manga that hit the same vibe as one piece go read "Radiant" it's a really cool manga with like +100 chapter and beautifull art ( the beginning is kinda boring and plain but it get so much better later)
I hope it lasts, but when you start with OP abilities, the author kinda jynx themselves. One Piece started very simple. Luffy could stretch and punch, that's it. It allows the author a lot of time to develop the character's powers. Because the moment the MC is OP, then powerscaling becomes a problem.

To proceed forward, the crew must go island to island and never go backward, they free countries and find clues on islands. Fairy Tail is most the time Natsu and his gang completing Quest’s and Guild matters until maybe they find Igneel or other. Not to mention the course to find the One Piece is a world conquest, no one aside from Dragon Slayers cares to find their dragon fathers. So yeah, I don’t understand some people saying One Piece and Fairy Tail are even copies of each other.

Literally the first chapter is straight up essentially a recreation of Luffy meet Koby and I couldn't be happier. I hope this manga find success cause we desperately need more hopeful manga with playful mc and strong sense of fun adventure again.
