@@Blackstar-yd3yf in terms of an animated story, look at “Astarte” it’s amazingly well done, although there are no voices. A really good guardsman story would be “The end of all things”. You could also check out the “Gav and Bob” stories too.

@@slkjvlkfsvnlsdfhgdght5447 Specifically referring to their references to Aŋra Mainiiu and Ahura Mazdā, both of which explicitly are part of Zoroastrianism. I think it's fascinating to consider such an old Earth religion being absorbed by the Imperial Cult like it has been in this instance.

Over tens of millennia, language will have transformed so substantially, and history will have become so dense with names, titles, customs, traditions, and mysticisms unfamiliar to a 21st century mind, that we would not recognise the Imperium as _ancient,_ but only _alien._
Therefore, Gothic is represented as Latin, because Latin is the linguistic scaffold of the “West”. Through Latin, we can recognise the Imperium as an ossified, degenerate civilisation, preserving dead speech as it preserves dead hierarchies, dead sciences, dead orthodoxies; in a way that we would not if its language was _plausibly_ developed across forty millennia, but consequently unfamiliar.
The setting’s use of _other_ real world languages, myths, and symbols (Iranian, Nordic, Egyptian, Mongolian, etc.), functions the same way.
Finally you do a chapter about space sharks the most terrifying chapter that don't speak but slaughters their enemies

I was hoping Tyberos would be the star. That bring said, you guts did an amazing job of portraying just how terrifying the Carcharodons are to face.
Tyberos is too big of a character to write as. It would ruin his mystique.

@@Ransetsu I totally agree that too much info on Tyberos might ruin the character. But it is crazy how we can have almost full biographies of the primarchs. Why do you think it works for those characters but not Tyberos. Is it because knowing so little about him actually makes him more terrifying?

Man. Good thing my chapter is based on a prehistoric planet with super dinos. The chapter themselves is a blend of space wolves and salamanders. Family oriented but savage. Bone weapons are their theme and riding a T-rex as captains and above. They share the planet with exodites. Trapped from the wider galaxy by warpstorms lasting thousands of years. The planet was invaded by demonic incursions. Exodites and the space marines worked together to expel the demonic invasion. Over the years an unlikely alliance for the safety of the planet and survival beat the hatred for both sides. The exodites teaching the populace how to tame the creatures, the space marines use the natural creatures of the death world as additional auxiliary support.

Tyberos is just that big, even for a termie. Note that he's put one of his lightning claws away to give the other dude a "fair" fight
The Red Wake is so large compared to other marines his armor is technically dreadnought armor in size and function
