The Cdp vs Sapkowski case that you probably have on mind wasn't a simple matter like most people speculate. Sean Sopata Ryan Reynolds plays dead pool in every movie he's in. Like how Seth rogan plays a stoner in every movie. It takes no skill to play deadpool literally just be a funny guy that's in shape. There's no depth or seriousness involved when playing deadpool especially when you're Ryan Reynolds and you just need to act the same as you always act. Henry is an actual method actor that throws every part of himself into a role and has some of the most extensive training regiments I have ever seen an actor go thru. Him , Christian bale, dicaprio and tom hardy are the most passionate actors I've ever seen imo
Sean Sopata idk what your definition of the word is but imo the guy who plays all the games, reads all the books, soaks his shirt and his shorts every day for months to get in shape, take extensive sword fighting lessons using real swords until you have increased your dexterity, sit for three hours every day to get make up and costume done, go from filming a fight scene several times only to be expected to still have the endurance to go from action to drama seamlessly, no breaks. I'm pretty sure that guy would be described as "more passionate" than the guy who cracks jokes and is getting everything done for them by movie magic CGI and over the top special effects. Cavil is really using a weighted sword in all these scenes no stunt doubles or extensive CGI to the point where you're just stood Infront of a green screen
@@PD-ek3cu I think you're misreading what I said. Nothing I said lessened the passion henry has for this project. He clearly loves it! I didn't say anything about him not having passion for geralt or The Witcher. I merely pointed out that Reynolds ALSO has passion for his project. (He worked out, he reads the comics. He spent a decade trying g to get it done) good lord you're defending against something that no one even said.
My only complaint with the show is that Cavill should be in it way more. That’s also the biggest compliment I can give to him as well... he’s crazy good
My only gripe so far is all the unnecessary nudity. Don't get me wrong, I like boobs as much as the next guy, but when Yennifer is getting plastic surgery, I dont want to watch 15 minutes of her writhing around naked. However, the game also has nudity, so I'm pretty sure it's just cannon. Edit: I just got to the 5th episode and it’s the same concept with the entire episode. The giant orgy they walk in on, Yenn being naked while doing all of the ritual stuff, and then them fucking at the end. That girl barely even wears clothes.

I love how invested Henry is in his role regarding his character and the show. He's played The Witcher 3 and read the books as well. Hope the show is good!
He played the game first and from what he says fell in love with the witcher world. It wasn't until he started looking around the internet probably looking for a new release or DLC that he found out about Netflix wanting to do a Witcher series. He read the books and basically promoted himself as the Geralt going so far as recreating the character in makeup and wear to the producers. He was fully vested and wanted to do this and you can tell. I loved the game myself and have played it through several times with all DLC. It is a grand world.

The line began the first ever witcher short story which sapkowski wrote to win a writers contest put up by a fantasy magazine 34y ago. The story came at 3rd place. He just wanted to cash the prize and forget about the witcher. Little did he know...

I don’t think ever seen an actor exude so much passion for their role. He’s going to bring justice to the Witcher.
Ryan Reynolds/deadpool...
@@PD-ek3cu none of that has anything to do with my comment. The original point was about passion for a project.
