Compare it to the maxx slash. And I actually wanna see this for real data. I already have a max and I want to know if I should get the Mojave because it looks so much better in videos than the maxx slash
A buddy of mine has the Maxx Slash. When I run my Mojave against it, I can tell you this.
When it comes to top speed, the Maxx Slash is faster. It just is. That being said, the Mojave is better in just about every other way
These are known for the drive shafts popping out, a small piece of fuel line in the shock tubes does help. Great video Mark. 👌🏼
Out of all my Rc. My Mojave exb is my favorite. It puts the biggest smile on my face. Currently it has a 1650 motor running 8s. It's a beast.
My favorite RC! I haven't broken any dricetrain parts on it yet, after about 80 packs. I've wrecked a few times, so I've fixed some arms and camber links, but it's been my most reliable RC. And not to mention.. probably the most fun RC to drive. In my opinion anyway. Absolute unit!
You should try the Losi super Baja Rey
Compare to the UDR because the maxx slash is just a normal slash but bigger, the Mojave and UDR have specialised long travel suspension to make it cooler
It's more like the maxx slash probably than the udr. That being said i like my udr's for looking pretty and the mojave for speed and durability. Keep an eye on your hexes. I think they fixed the issue but it was common to put +2mm extenders on to prevent them from messing up the wheels when they rubbed. Also put a little foam like from a pool noodle or hot water pipe insulation under the body mounts in the area below them to keep them alive a little longer.
I’ve had the mojave for a couple years now and the only way I can describe it on 6s is wild animal lol
just bought my first RC 2 days ago. Arrma Infraction v2 6s White. Looking forward to buying alot more. Going to start buying more after Xmas. Too many expensive right now but I do want more especially some offroad

@Appel007 oh hell yeah, it's by far the best truck I've owned, I've got most of the 6S range, and a few Hobao 1/8 scale truggies and the Mojave is just an amazing truck and so controllable and powerful.

I would add a 6100 receiver and dx3 transmitter. 5 mm shorter limit straps to the shocks .

4s does have beefier diffs
I have every Arrma SCT and have put over 50 packs on most of them.
Pros of the Mojave 4S:
-More durable for sure. It will take way more bad landings than the 6S.
-Handles better than the 6S, being more nimble and has a dirt guard that also pushes air out of the way, so it flies in the air much better than the 6S.
-A little simpler to work on. Parts are cheaper and the modular design makes it super easy to fix when it breaks.
Cons of the Mojave 4S:
-Body gets stuck behind the bumper, dragging on the tires.
-Body is very brittle and will crack on your first wreck
-Body gets stuck onto the chassis because of dirt getting into the post holes
-Dirt will mess up your fun. Rocks and dirt can get into the center driveshaft and rip it up, as well as getting into the servo horn area, locking up the steering when you least expect it.
-Wires seem to overheat and melt in my experience. On a high amp 4S battery, my motor wires are always melting and need to be relevant soldered often. Idk why, but it seems to only be happening to me.
Pros of the Mojave 6S:
-Drivetrain reliability. While the truck doesn't take many hard crashes, the drivetrain is built like a tank. Things you break on the 6S are almost always going to be arms or camber links. Rarely drivetrain.
-Badass size and power. It will topple rougher terrain than the 4S does. Tons of fun
-also really easy to work on.
-lots of aftermarket support, more than the 4S by alot.
Cons of the Mojave 6S:
-Parts break alot if you don't land jumps perfectly. Camber links, toe links, arms, body mounts, all of these break really easy on the 6S, unlike the 4S.
-aluminum chassis may bend. I haven't bent mine, but it's a very common weak spot.
-deiveshafts like to pop out. Happens all of the time on huge jumps, but there are fixes. Even in this video this issue is very relevant.
That's my basic comparison after owning both for over a year and abusing them. I would take the 6S for a more care free experience. The 4S for hard bashing. They're both amazing trucks!

Check out the scorched parts inner fender setup. Works great for keeping the crap out. The Mojave 6s exb is my favorite rc.
The speed pinion is perfect speed and is very durable adding a light kit will be nice. I also turn avc off.

I love my OG Tekno SCT410 with 2.8s and the PL monster SC body. She was such a good racer back in the day and she is my favorite Basher now. My .3 & SL are my racers now. 👍🏻
Maybe try coming up with a sort of track out there at that construction site and put it up against the Maxx Slash, and the UDR. Could get the boys involved and do 5 lap heats, best 2 out of 3. Then change trucks, work through it till each of you have driven each truck for 3 heats. See which one comes out on top and which one is the overall favorite.
Mark your going to love it. Upgrade the esc and motor to Hobbywing. This is my go to. Can't do that with a UDR lol

Next time just remove the upper suspension arm pin just don't lose the three little plastic spacer clips. That is by far easier than removing the pillow balls

Awesome truck but super annoying every time you drive it the ESC fan sucks a bunch of grass up into it and you have to unscrew the fan to get it all out… my only complaint.
It's so funny that I clicked on this video lol! I've been sitting on this Rc for over 2 months now, and I finally took it out today (oct20) it runs like a tank, and is fast as hell 🙂 But it gets the Debree all up in it lol. No regrets at all for me 🙂

I mean I am usually wrong but this should be tested on a track it could be a good track truck with better shocks. (A bit stiffer maybe IDK.)
I’ve tried but honestly it never really does that good no matter how much you try even ran it with truggy tires tekno shocks playing with diff fluid and no I was not using the lsd diffs lol. But it’s biggest problem was the over steer but when it did grip it had more than enough steering. I want to play with it more on track but I kinda quit because it’s just a better desert truck honestly the best in my opinion never really breaks once you work out the kinks and yes I have a udr but it always breaks and you have fit big enough battery’s for long hikes and what not
