I think palpatine would recognise qui gon as a major threat so i think he would try to assassinate him

Qui-gon probably would’ve been fine with anakin and padme since he didn’t really follow the Jedi code himself

Interesting. Unlike Obi - Wan who basically screwed Anakin up, Qui - Gon might've actually brought balance to Anakin's training so he can eventually fulfill his destiny and bring the Jedi version of balance to the Force. Now, the fact "balance" means an equal 50% - 50% amount of light and dark, while the Jedi believed "balance" means 100% light - 0% dark is a story for another video. 🙂

I think George Lucas explained it as in the fact that the dark side itself causes "unbalance" to the Force because it's used as a power centered on the self and not on the living force.

When the prequels were being released, Lucas film released "what if" comics of the Original Trilogy. Wished they do that with the Prequel Trilogy.
