Day 63 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
is that last one a what if? it feels like they ARE in love in the Ashoka show, but are both emotionally stunted adults who cant express their feelings.

This is very well written. While Palpatine used the "The Jedi are planning to take over" and "All who gain power are afraid to lose it". in canon, the Padme route was his main means of getting Anakin. I like here how he's using the Darth Bane story instead. I wonder, though, if in the end, Palaptine's strategy will backfire on him and Anakin will realize that Palpatine is the REAL power-hungry one.
I like how in this one, Palpy's attempt to win Ani by reveling the Truth "from a certain point of view"™ sealed his own doom.

I think if Death Star was used to destroy Courscant it would treated as a false flag attack by the Rebels or Separatists. While in reality the attack would have been carried out by the Empire or Vader.

What if as the nightmares of Padmes death begins, Anakin start to look for force healing techniques in the archives and finds both force healing techniques in both sides of the force. And by learning light and dark force healing techniques he learns how to heal any living being as long as there is life.

Anakin should never have been told he was the chosen one. He should have been trained and treated like all Padawan’s and Knights. He deserved the rank of master especially considering he had a padawan. He should never have had to bear the weight of that prophecy. If he had stayed in the light he could have reformed the zjefi. Allowing marriage , Jedi parents to live in quarters with their children while they’re trained as Padawans (if force sensitive). Anakin was treated really badly , especially consider his tactical prowess in battles, his leadership and compassion . The guy absolutely ruined separatists in negotiations and battle. The Jedi would have become real protectors. Also a Jedi task force should have gone to Tatooine, arrested all the slavers, freed the slaves and left republic troops and maybe A master and Padawan. They could look out for Shmi and let Anakin know she was ok .

More I think on a certain thing, the more often this idea pops into my head. Alas, no long winded, drawn out idea today....yay for those that don't like long messages :-)
If Anakin is truly the chosen one, created by the Force, then it's the force that failed him.
How's about this? Qui-Gon does NOT discover Anakin. Instead, the Wills hide Anakin's presence (to an extent). Qui-Gon feels something, but he can't pinpoint it...and because of this, even though they're close to meeting one another, they still miss one another.
Anakin is being led by the wills to go on his own path, but is still permitted (due to Anakin's strong will/desire to free his mother) to race, but due to the powers that be, there is no intervention by Qui-Gon whatsoever.
After the race, the Wills began to visit Anakin in is dreams and set him on a path in the light.
As to what this journey entails, that's for you and your team.
I just think that for a while the Wills would take responsibility in instilling lessons and traits into him. Maybe even guide him to a Jedi who left the Order and follows a more balanced route. Could discover the Jedi Prophecy is a lie, could change things completely.
Would like it to be a good ending, even if there's no Padme due to his upbringing or surroundings.
Maybe bring balance for ALL force users...light, dark, sisters, sage's... Just a few ideas.
This is a very good question. I agree that Anakin should’ve destroyed this Sith and, yes again, because he made the right choice in this to keep Padme from dying in order to get rid of Palpatine. Whereas in the movie it did not save her which was why he was lured to the dark side and Padme died in child birth.
What if Revan returned during The Phantom Menace? What if Satele returned during the Phantom Menace and trained Anakin? What if Satele returned during The Empire Strikes Back and trained Luke? What if Plo Koon was sent to fight Grievous? What if Plo trained Cal?

How about a Battle of Malachor story. The mass shadow generator used by the Jedi killed them too, or converted them.
He would have never turned to the darkside because he wouldn’t have wanted the secrets Palps promised to show him ! Palps would have either found a new apprentice or he an Dooku would have continued to try and run the clone wars !
I mean, this seems like a forgone conclusion at this point, but:

What is Anakin was born of the light side instead of Darth Plagious. I think that's why he has so much darkness within him, ye being a slave didn't help him any but I think the main reason for his darkness is being a product of the dark side through Darth Plagious
Well, considering that the whole reason he decided to turn to the Dark Side of the Force, join the Sith and become Sidious's lapdog was because he was having those nightmares....Nightmares that were similar to those he was having about his mother before she died in his arms, which *greatly* enhanced his fears that his nightmares about Padme dying would come to pass, because if the ones about his mother proved true, what's to stop them from coming into fruition? Then, he meets with Palpatine, who tells him the Sith knew of a way to stop people from dying, which peaked his interest, he decided to betray the Jedi and the rest went downhill from there......No nightmares, no direct, strong compulsion to betray the Jedi because he doesn't NEED that knowledge, meaning that Palpatine can't weaponize it to draw him in.....Not yet, at least.....So, Palpatine, as Sidious, would need to find an alternative way to pull him down, and a different way to make him move against the Jedi......It wouldn't surprise me if the guy simply had Padme assassinated, and made it look like the Jedi had done it!
