To anyone who is thinking about buying this game: This is not Jurassic Park. There is no genetic engineering. There are no escaping dinosaurs. There is no corporate espionage. There is very little chaos. Dinosaur Island is primarily a multiplayer-solitaire park management game about racing to complete common objectives while scoring a few points along the way. I definitely recommend playing it, but balance issues in the game design start to show after 5-10 plays.
My wife and I just played this last weekend. I loved this game when it first came out, but I found in our most recent play, that it slipped a little in my estimation. We did enjoy it though. I think it is still worth it.
@@BoardGameBollocks I did give it a brief glance when it came out, but dismissed it because we did already have the big game. Might be worth a 2nd look. Thanks.

Did you try Duelosaur island for 2 players?
I have not. Does it play significantly different/better?
Haven’t played it. Was thinking it may be a better fit if it’s just two of you...
