It's amazing the culture that was taken over with our ancestors from Africa. We cook this in Guyana 🇬🇾 South America. It's called cookup here. This version of cookup is called Shine rice. Lots of, coconut milk and dried shrimps. Other versions will include different types of peas, or vegetables and a variation of meats. Love this. ❤

thank you for sharing this wonderful and looks very tasty coconut rice and I was very happy how you show how we make coconut milk now please tell me how can you can you freeze it is so will it stay in the freezer and then how will it keep in the refrigerator to make a and have it ready when I need it I freeze a lot of things if you can please let me know I would greatly appreciate it and I will be making this coconut you have done a beautiful job with it and I like the fact that you made it spicy I have tasted coconut rice before and it wasn't really coconut flavor and it didn't have all the fire to it so this one I would definitely be trying and I think that I will be making it God has truly blessed you you must remain blessed amen which means it is done.
