Sisiyemi you don’t know how you have up-graded me, my status has moved up in my extended families eyes and our oyinbo inlaws eyes too (my brother’s wife). My pot of “your style” yam porridge got them eating double portion, it got me laughing, my children who claim they don’t like yam cleared their plates and my pot got empty in minutes. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you immensely for helping women like me who just want to impress family from our kitchens.

Had little yam at home and I decided to follow the step by step procedure, added smoked turkey and less seasoning so I don’t confuse it as suggested! I was wowed, I couldn’t even wait for my husband to return from work as I have been tasting with plates and spoon since afternoon, I pray I don’t finish it. 😂😂😂😂. Tnx sister yemmie.

I was about cooking asaro about 30mins ago, but I wanted a very delicious one, so I thought about coming to TH-cam to check if there's a video that has a better procedure of cooking it, and then I stumbled on this particular video.
I cooked and now that I'm eating, I'm just nodding and smiling like what I don't know 😂😂🤣.
    Thank you ma!

Just tried this , this evening and it is amazing. Even though there’s a slight difference in mine I used grounded pepper and Cameron (black pepper) only because I prefer that when I’m making yam or beans porridge. I also did not add bell pepper but I used iru at the begging because I wanted a traditional/ native taste and smell and I also added scent leaves and ugu leaves to mine. And it’s simple delicious 🤤 😋 . I enjoy learning from your posts
