How to Bead Roll Intercooler Pipe At Home

This is a cheap and effective way of forming functional beads on most aluminum intercooler piping at home/ for cheap. These style pliers can be found at most hardware stores at a decent price. In my years as a DIY-er I honestly wouldn't second guess this methods functionality.

Nice! Good idea. Bet if you were to modify the crimpers a bit, it would clean up the crimp.

Just make sure you start with a 90° clean cut and maybe try rolling a few layers of masking tape around the edge before you roll it 👌

I have a question. Could this roller make rolled edge in 0.8mm brass sheet? I need this device to complete my project.

Hi, I'm sure it could, brass is a relatively soft metal like aluminum. If its a thin sheet try less pressure on the grip so you dont punch a hole in it
