omg i used to have this exact tape back in the days.i always loved these dramatised version with sound affects and all over the ones where just someone was reading it.
Unfortunately, many videos (mostly the Famous Five) have been deleted by youtube. They were taken down by a 3rd party copyright company - Link Busters, who claimed to be acting for the copyright holders. However, their "evidence" was links to the unabridged readings by Jan Francis on Audible. It wasn't from content matching (I only uploaded recordings that were not commercially available) but it seems they have just used an automated title search system, incorrectly flagging these as owned by their clients. Because they are a big company copyright takedown company, youtube don't investigate and there is no appeals procedure. I know many people appreciate making these available (the deleted videos had over 1 million views) and I did put the effort in to record them but I don't own the copyright to the original works and so I do not commercialise these. I am considering re-uploading here, a new channel, or somewhere else, but if would be wasted time if they just get taken down again from an automated process and don't want any legal troubles. I am sorry that I can't make these available at these time. I know so many enjoy or rely on these recordings and it makes me sad that it has been taken away from you all.
Sorry, I don't. But I'm on the look out to acquire the rest of this series (I think 11 of these stories were made including Banshee Towers). They are a bit more rare than the other ones though.
@@stevengrayson1853 Yeah, it's more like a famous five story. Same as the book - less of a mystery and more of the Ern/Fatty show. In some ways that's better for this format. I think the mystery stories lose a with the simplification.
@@stevengrayson1853 I have the Spiteful Letters - but have problems with my copy. Lots of wobble and only plays for short batches and then stops. I have some ideas to fix these cassettes in the naughty box. So hopefully can get it up.
I remember the gang from childhood but can't remember any of the stories, such a long time ago, 50 years. Can't imagine children being encouraged to read these nowadays, 'Fatty' isn't deemed as PC these days. Such a shame.
Love these! Thank you. Especially the effect of seeing the cassette tapes. Like my old purple boombox
You are so welcome!
Had never heard these. My son loves them. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
Great version. Thanks so much.
My favorite Mystery book with the find outers
Hope you enjoyed!
@@reneartois616 Yes I do every time I hear it even so with the others but especially this one
Thank you for these lovely recordings!

Glad you could find this again. Hope you enjoyed!
Oh wow core memory unlocked - who voices the narration?!
Wow 👍👍👍
Please can you reupload the Famous Five Abridged playlists? We listen to them almost every night and are lost without them!

Not heard this one!!! 😁
It's a good one!
Love these, the best series of these tapes. Don’t suppose you have The Mystery of Banshee Towers, from the same series?

@@reneartois616 where do you find them from?
Please keep up the good work, very enjoyable.
thankyou so much. can you do moar
Can you get these cassettes anywhere
The Find outers ones seem fairly rare compared with others. I reckon most cassette got binned over the years as seen as worthless.
@@reneartois616 it's annoying cuz I love those stories
Funny how earn character so different esp with a different voice as in some episodes
Ern was a bit different! They really were going with hamming up on him being a different class to the others.
@@reneartois616 yup main story seemed to be bully ern then near end, oh we solved mystery in 2 mins.......can u get the spiteful letters????? Plz
