The Mystery of the Strange Messages, Five-Find-Outers Audiobook -Enid Blyton Abridged 1988/1995

A multi-actor reading of The Mystery of the Strange Messages from Enid Blyton's Mystery series with the 5 Find-Outers and Buster the dog. This from book 14 in the series originally published in 1957 .
The Five Find-Outers are in trouble when Mr Goon, the policeman, thank they have been sending him anonymous notes. Can the friends prove their innocence?
This audio theatre reading/dramisation was performed by Liz Morgan and John Baddeley. It is abridged with a 87 minute running time, but the story still develops well. These shorter dramatizations are ideal for 'reading' in a single sitting and are great for relaxing bedtime, or car journeys with kids.
Originally recorded/released by Tempo/World Wide Audio (TEB 6512), but this is transferred from a later re-release by Speaking Words/Harper Collins in 1995 (Tape Word 1015) in a Word of Mouth 'Kids Collection' dual pack.
This is shared from a recording of a cassette tape, so lots of old-fashioned tape noises and hiss, but still very listenable and an enjoyable telling for childhood nostalgia and relaxation or for excitement in new generation of imaginative listeners.
