This is good advice, definitely a video worth sharing with newcomers, though you are beginning to edge towards spoiler territory when it comes to the Rex Overdrive tip.

Someone mentioned this elsewhere but I think it should be repeated here.
"cancel into X" is stupidly confusing to people who don't know what a "cancel" is. If you've never played a fighting game like Streetfighter in your life (or even if you have) you're likely not familiar with the term.
"Cancel your attack into art" doesn't mean that you're canceling your attack. It means you're canceling the -> recovery animation
That ending joke was perfect.

... Oh and the tips were good too. Though, touching on the combat system slightly, I do wish that they had given us chain attacks before chapter three, we could have gotten them right after rescuing Nia and having three party members for the first time, but no.

Just started a few days ago, at first I wasn’t enjoying it, coming straight from finishing xenoblade chronicles definitive Ed. But now in chapter 2 doing side quests and taking my time and it’s becoming the only game I want to play.
I got it and X1 because I am interested in X3 but wanted X1 and X2 first.

BONUS TIP: You can download the Japanese VA on the Nintendo eShop. I prefer 95% of the English dub; the 5% is mostly Rex lol. He's great at comedy, but inconsistent with emotions (there's one particular scene where I really disliked his performance). If you don't mind that though, I recommend sticking to the dub or at least giving it a chance!
And before anyone calls me out for that 10 min battle when I was talking about combat not being slow (08:24): that was a unique monster aka. superboss! I was also not at the best level to fight it, but we won anyway :^)
Because of the way EX is given, don't do optional quests until you have five drivers.

I'm trying to finish this game and looking for tips. I was stuck at Spirit Crucible Elpys and I almost sold the game because of it. I'm giving it another try

This might be the first game in my 15+ years of gaming I just give up on. It makes no sense at all to me and I'm so lost on almost everything in game.
